Section 7.3.3, Step 7.3 - Determine the conditional probability of leakage and conditional probability of
pass using Equations (1.19) and (1.20), respectively.

My comment:-

Equation 1.19 is used to calculate conditional POFOD for PRD which has passed the inspection test and
Equation 1.20 for the PRD which has failed during inspection.

Now in the above step in API for the calculation of conditional probability for Leakage, it is asking to use
equation 1.19 which is actually for pass of inspection. In my opinion, equation for pass should be used
for calculating conditional probability for No leak result and Equation 1.20 for Leak result which is equal
to fail inspection. Below pictures are copy pasted from standard.

Please provide your opinion.

Question – 2 (Weighted Probability) :-

As per Table 7.9,

I can calculate weighted probability for No leak and Leak as per above understanding of table. Please
advice.
