Background
Wellness hospital is the complete platform for harmless and non-invasive natural therapies like
naturopathy, yoga, acupuncture, acupressure and herbal medicine under one roof. It focuses on
the preventive, curative promotion and rehabilitative aspects of health, which help to enhance
natural heling power. This hospital believes in holistic approach and care patients in homely
environment with human touch.
Access and built environment
It is easily accessible from local and private vehicles. Since, this is the residential adapted
building so the function of wellness center is not fulfilling the required criteria.

Site plan + organization

 The healing center and guest house are placed on either side of existing caretaker house
and windmill.
 Services are zoned to the rear of the site, so that it is obstructed from visitor’s view.
 Cluster organization-curvilinear therapy rooms in the front with the internal corridors
facing open court.
 Dispersed circular rooms provides good air flow throughout the
built-form

Circulation + movement
 Only one entry for visitors, staffs and service vehicles
movement.
 Vehicular circulation inside the site is restricted to reduce
noise level inside the building.
  Pedestrian circulation connects all the therapy and public spaces of the building.
 Because of the single entry point the chaos is happening at the junctions pointed as critical
nodes.
