Welcome to the 21st Annual
South Carolina Environmental Conference
“Protecting Our Communities, Protecting Our Environment”
This year’s theme for the 21st edition of the South Carolina Environmental
Conference is “Protecting Our Communities, Protecting Our Environment”.
As Water Professionals, we provide the first and last line of defense when
it comes to providing safe drinking water and protecting our wonderful
WEASC President SCAWWA Chair environment. Through our work, we insure that our neighbors are protected
Walter Lagarenne Frank Eskridge from waterborne diseases and that our wildlife and plant life is protected;
we provide the essential conditions that allow the high standard of living
that we enjoy each day; and we provide the basis for the economic engine
of this country through potable water and wastewater handling. Water
