2.9 Calculate and View Results Part2. Load Calculation
Design Tip
- Room Checksums report: Users can check Peak load of each room. This peak load is
considered when you select the size of indoor units for rooms.
- System Checksums report: Users can check Block load of the system including 4rooms.
Block load is considered when you select the size of the plant(Outdoor unit).
For VRF this information can be utilized when deciding the Combination Ratio.
Peak Load Block Load

3. Click “User Override” and Input “36℃ / 29℃ (Dry bulb / Wet bulb)” manually.
Design Tip
- Trace CPA automatically generate Annual Load profile for Energy simulation
with the peak load you input and annual weather data.
- Each city includes the annual weather data from Energy Plus or other weather data site.
- This data is used for calculating “Maximum heat load” to select product(IDU) size and
“Annual load profile” to simulate annual Energy consumption.
- You can manually change the design Ambient temperature using “Overrides” button.
33
3.4 Select building type Part3. Energy Simulation
Design Tip
- Users are required to input any values for peak loads even though there is no heating or cooling.
Otherwise, system cannot work properly.
ex) When there is no heating, users need to enter 0.1kW.
34
3.5 Define Economics Part3. Energy Simulation
