LOCAL PROCEDURE

A. OUT BOUND PROCEDURE


1. IFR : No IFR Traffic
2. VFR : After take off intercept VFR route maintain at or below 4000 ft or as
instructed by ATC

B. IN BOUND PROCEDURE
1. IFR : No IFR Traffic
2. VFR : Follow VFR route maintain at or below 4000 ft proceed to overhead
station / upwind leg ( put runway in use / left or right circuit ) maintain 1500 ft
then join aerodrome traffic circuit or as instructed by ATC

1) Runway 08 : After take off maintain runway heading until 1000 ft make 090°
turn to the left climb to 1500 ft proceed to training area via
overhead and Alpha (A) / Bravo (B) gate point then climb at or
below 3500 ft or as instructed by ATC.
2) Runway 26 : After take off maintain runway heading until 1000 ft make 090°
turn to the left climb to 1500 ft proceed to training area via Alpha
(A) or Bravo (B) gate point and climb at or below 3500 ft or as
instructed by ATC.

b. Rotary Wing Traffic


Depart to North Area (Tanjung Wangi, Karang Tekok, etc)

1) Runway 08 : After take off maintain runway heading until 500 ft make 090°
turn to the left climb to 1000 ft then proceed to North Area via
coast line or as instructed by ATC.

2) Runway 26 : After take off maintain runway heading until 500 ft make 090°
turn to the left climb to 1000 ft then proceed to North area via
overhead then follow coast line or as instructed by ATC.

Depart to South Area (Pulau Merah , Bulog, Tambak Sobo, etc)

1) Runway 08 : After take off maintain runway heading until 500 ft make 090°
turn to the left climb to 1000 ft then proceed to South Area via
overhead then follow coast line or as instructed by ATC.

2) Runway 26 : After take off maintain runway heading until 500 ft make 090°
turn to the left climb to 1000 ft then proceed to South Area or as
instructed by ATC.

2. Standard Entry Procedure

a. Fix Wing Traffic


1) Runway 08 From Training Area :
Proceed to overhead station via gate point Alpha (A) or Bravo (B) maintain
1500 ft, then downwind leg maintain 1000 ft and decreasing, or as instructed by
ATC

2) Runway 26 From Training Area:


Proceed to downwind leg via gate point Alpha (A) or Bravo (B) maintain 1000 ft
or proceed to base leg maintain 1000 ft and decreasing, or as instructed by
ATC.

b. Rotary Wing Traffic


1) Runway 08
 From Ketapang / Tanjung Wangi / North Area:
Follow VFR Corridor proceed to downwind leg maintain 500 ft and
decreasing, or as instructed by ATC.
 From Pulau Merah Area / South Area:
Proceed to downwind leg via coast line maintain 500 ft and decreasing, or
as instructed by ATC.

2) Runway 26
 From Ketapang / Tanjung Wangi / North Area:
Follow VFR Corridor proceed to downwind leg via overhead maintain 500 ft
and decreasing, or as instructed by ATC.
 From Pulau Merah Area / South Area:
Proceed to base leg via coast line maintain 500 ft and decreasing, or as
instructed by ATC.

E. ALTIMETER SETTING PROCEDURES


1. This ICAO altimeter setting procedures shall be used by all aircraft operating
within Blimbingsari ATZ, QNH provided in milibars and inches available on
request
2. Transition Altitude 11,000 ft transition level FL130.

F. COMMUNICATION PROCEDURES
All aircraft within Blimbingsari ATZ shall be equipped with radio capable of conducting
and maintaining two way communication with Blimbingsari Tower.

G. COMMUNICATION FAILURE PROCEDURES


1. Visual Meteorological Condition (VMC)
a) Continue fly in VMC
b) Fly full circuit over the aerodrome, pilot shall be endeavor or to transmit blindy
his position, intention and etc, so as to be monitored by tower or any other traffic
Blimbingsari ATZ.
2. Instrument Meteorological Condition (IMC)
a) Proceed according to current flightplan to the appropriate designated navigation
and serving Blimbingsari Aerodrome and when required to ensure compliance
with (point b) below, hold over this aid until commence of descent.
b) Commence descent from navigation aid specified in (point a) or as close a
possible to ETA as indicated in the filled flightplan and revised accordance
with current flightplan.
c) Land if possible within thirty minutes after the Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA)
