General Properties of UBOND AP+
IMPORTANT PROPERTY: As compared to other water based system UBOND AP+ - Does not discolour or turn
milky – soon after drying – approx. 4 mins. To 20 mins. – Drying Time

UBOND AP+ does not block the pores and hence does not affect the breathability of concrete. The pure aliphatic acrylate
top coat provides high resistance to carbon dioxide, water and also ensures stability even under long term exposure to UV
rays. This top coat has also self cleaning properties which enable the coating to look clean and neat even after years of
exposure.
UBOND AP+ consisting of silane/siloxane primer and pure aliphatic in combination protects the concrete surfaces from
carbon dioxide, sulphur dioxide, oxygen, water, chlorides and acid gases while allowing water vapours from within to get
out.

NON STAINING
 DURABLE
not suitable for repairing leakages all by it self, however, in conjunction with grey/ white cement and
silica flour/ quartz sand/ rice husk ash/ fumed silica/ microsilica can be used to seal off cracks, crevices, and provide a water
proof, water resistant seal to concrete.

UBOND AP+ application as antigraffiti coating is for “Paan/ Gutka” Stains on walls.
2 top coats on painted walls render the walls washable – and the stains can be removed

Wall Tiles, Wall MDF Decorative Panels, Stones - stain resistant, water resistant, breathable, clear coat. Can also
be used with pigment powders, stainers, metallic powders to give a variety of shades and effects.

Stain Resistant, water repellent, hard wearing, U.V. resistant Gloss Coating – for all porous substrates
 Painted/ Unpainted Structures - as a top coat - after painting.
Cheaper varieties of exterior paints can be used - and UBOND AP+ may be used as a clear top coat - in two coats.
Can be used as water, stain repellent - anti graffiti coating, to prolong the life of the decorative paint.

Waterproofing over China Mosaic, Inlaid Decorative Stone Mosaic – Surface Preparation: Clean
surface with 1 part HCl & 2 Parts water – Rinse with 1 part Sod. Silicate & 2 parts water – Rinse well with clean water –
DRY well & apply 2 coats undiluted UBOND AP+ at intervals of min 6 hrs. between coats
 UBOND AP+ on Leather – as Top Coat or during Crusting as well as Finishing.

Gloss & Matt – Oil/ Stain/ Water/ Rot/ Mildew Resistant – UBOND AP+ for WOOD
TESTED ON THE FOLLOWING FOR CHEMICAL RESISTANCE:
1. Resistance to HCl acidic water [dipped condition] - pH 2 - 21 days - passes - no loss of gloss or de bonding of coat.
2. Resistance to Sour Lime - 24 hrs - on surface - passes
3. Resistance to 30% commercial HCl - 24 hrs. - passes
4. Resistance to Inks, Grease, Gravy - 24 hrs. - passes
5. Resistance to Brake Fluid/ D.E.G. - 24 hrs. - passes
1st Coat - 80 sqft. - 300 sq.ft. - depending on substrate
2nd Coat - 200 - 400 sq.ft.
