Requirement guidelines for the awarding of the EMICODE licence
The flooring installation material mentioned in the front side licence has to meet with the following criteria
in accordance with the constitution and guidelines of the Technical Advisory Board of the GEV and
others:
• The product meets all the legal requirements, especially the chemical law and its specifications.
• The product is solvent free due to occupational health. Only in case of a wood flooring coating it
might contain low content of solvents.
• A safety data sheet (MSDS) according to local law in its respectively valid version is to be
established for the product.
• Carcinogenic, mutagenic, reprotoxic substances as well as those substances under suspicion to
cause such defects are not permitted to be used in the manufacturing of this product.
• The testing of the product is in accordance with the defined GEV test method. Afterwards the
definition of VOC is conducted in a test chamber by using the Tenax thermodesorption procedures
with GC/MS analysis.
• The classification into the EMICODE classes is performed according to the following listed and
described criteria and TVOC concentration groups. For product labelling the matching EMICODE
class is to be used.

stationnaire, en passant par le traitement ambulatoire, les
suivis médicaux réguliers ou les contrôles occasionnels ont
servi de base au concept architectural. Le patient et le visi-
teur, tout comme le personnel, ont à disposition de multiples
espaces d’attente et de réception aux finitions soignées et
aux teintes douces ainsi que des salles de conférence. La lu-
mière du jour constitue l’éclairage principal de ces espaces.
Des liaisons verticales avec les locaux techniques et les sa-
nitaires desservent de grands couloirs distribuant les es-
paces de travail, d’accueil, de soin ou de repos. La structure
porteuse est susceptible de recevoir des charges d’exploita-
tion importantes et l’éventualité de deux étages futurs a été
prise en compte dans les études statiques et sismiques.

Au cœur de l’Histoire

Après plus de deux années de travaux d’agrandissement et de rénovation, le Mémorial de Verdun a rouvert ses portes le 21
février dernier, à l’occasion du centenaire du début de la célèbre bataille. Un projet chargé d’histoire auquel MAPEI a participé

Des sols à base de ciment pour un aspect brut

a été formée par MAPEI depuis près de 5 ans. Une couche
de primaire PRIMER SN saupoudrée de silice QUARTZ 1,2 a
d’abord été appliquée, sur les zones rénovées et neuves.
« Nous avons sélectionné avec la maîtrise d’ouvrage un
gris moyen, sur la base d’ULTRATOP blanc teinté avec
MAPECOLOR PIGMENT » indique Luc Petitjean, gérant.
« Nous l’avons ensuite appliqué à la pompe, sur 8 à 10 mm
d’épaisseur. Cette méthode nous permet de gagner
beaucoup de temps et d’obtenir un résultat parfaitement
homogène ».
Pour les 180 marches d’escalier, ULTRATOP gris moyen a été
coulé dans des inserts en inox. Les contremarches ont quant
à elles été mises en œuvre avec ULTRATOP LOFT, nouvel
enduit coloré à effet spatulé. « Nous avons teinté ULTRATOP
LOFT en base blanche à l’aide de 40 g d’ULTRATOP COLOR
PASTE noir afin d’obtenir un gris moyen, identique à celui
des marches, la première et la dernière contre-marche ayant
été réalisées en gris noir pour une démarcation visuelle.
Nous l’avons ensuite appliqué en épaisseur de 2 mm, sa
consistance est très agréable à travailler ». 1

De la résine pour une surface homogène et résistante


Pour toutes les zones d’exposition, la bibliothèque et les
escaliers, l’entreprise Luc Petitjean Décoration a préconisé
sur les conseils de Philippe Méric, responsable commercial
des Sols Industriels et Décoratifs chez MAPEI, MAPEFLOOR
SYSTEM 33, un revêtement à base de résine. Résistant au
trafic piétonnier, il s’intègre parfaitement dans la scénographie
du musée grâce à sa surface homogène et continue.

L’entreprise a d’abord mis en œuvre une couche de primaire


PRIMER SN saupoudrée de QUARTZ 0,5. Après séchage et
aspiration du quartz en excès, la couche de masse à base
de résine époxy MAPEFLOOR I 300 SL, teintée à l’aide de
MAPECOLOR PASTE puis mélangée à de la silice QUARTZ
0,25 a été appliquée. Dans l’espace d’accueil et d’information
du champ de bataille de Verdun adjacent au Mémorial, c’est
un coloris gris clair (RAL 7035) qui a été retenu, dans les
zones relatives aux combats, un coloris anthracite (RAL 7012),
plus sombre. Pour finir, une couche de finition MAPEFLOOR
FINISH 58 W a été appliquée pour donner un effet mat. « C’est
le premier chantier de cette importance en résine que je réalise.
Nous avons été jusqu’à 10 ouvriers sur site. Philippe Méric a
su nous accompagner et nous former tout au long du projet et
tout s’est très bien passé » confie Luc Petitjean.

Le collage des revêtements souples

anni che ha visto la posa di 70.000 m2 di PVC
L’Azienda Ospedaliera Spedali Civili di Brescia è un’azienda sanitaria pubblica ed
è riconosciuta come uno degli ospedali più efficienti sia in Italia che in Europa,
dichiarato secondo miglior ospedale italiano nella classifica stilata dall’Agenas nel
2013, dietro al San Raffaele di Milano. Gli Spedali Civili, da sempre l’Ospedale
della città di Brescia, si caratterizzano oggi come Ospedale di rilievo nazionale e di
intensa presenza di alte specialità.
Nel corso del 2008, la Direzione Aziendale dell’azienda ospedaliera ha condotto
un’attenta e approfondita attività di analisi e revisione del complesso progetto di
ristrutturazione e riqualificazione del Presidio “Spedali Civili di Brescia”. Le soluzio-
ni individuate hanno consentito di superare le criticità dell’intervento e di portare
quindi a termine la procedura amministrativa di aggiudicazione dello stesso.
Si trattava di costruire un padiglione ospedaliero e un fabbricato a uso cucina e
mensa e di realizzare una serie di interventi di adeguamento e ristrutturazione di
padiglioni esistenti sia dell’Ospedale di Brescia sia di quello di Montichiari.

Si è trattato di un lavoro impegnativo che si è
protratto nel tempo ma che, grazie anche alla
facilità d’impiego e all’affidabilità dei prodotti
Mapei, ha visto rispettati tutti i tempi di con-
segna, con la completa soddisfazione dell’a-
zienda mandataria e del committente finale.

Dieses Projekt war eine große Herausforderung für alle Beteiligten. Einerseits wurden die Arbeiten durch-
geführt, während der normale Krankenhausbetrieb aufrecht erhalten werden musste, andererseits muss-
te auch der historische Kern des Krankenhauses restauriert werden. Alles in allem umfasst das Kranken-
hausareal Mistelbach mehr als 10.000m².
MAPEI begann mit den Arbeiten im November 2013 und lieferte zahlreiche Produkte für den Bodenbelag.
Das der Untergrund aus Zementestrich bestand, wurde er zuerst mit PRIMER G grundiert und dann mit
ULTRAPLAN O10 behandelt.
8.200m² von 926 gran Norament wurde mit Ultrabond ECO V4SP verarbeitet.
3.600m² von 926 gran Norament leitfähig wurde mit Ultrabond ECO V4SP conductive (leitfähig)
verarbeitet.
4.300m² linoleum Fobo marmoleum fresco wurde mit Ultrabond 540 verarbeitet.
15.000 lfm Sockelleisten wurden mit Mapecontact verklebt.

Primer G ist eine sehr emissionsarme Dispersionsgrundierung auf Kunstharzbasis für saugen-
de Untergründe im Innenbereich.
Ultraplan O10 ist eine sehr emissionsarme, selbstverlaufende, hydraulisch schnell erhärtende,
rakel- und pumpfähige Bodenspachtelmasse für Schichtdicken von 1 - 10 mm.
Mapecontact ist ein gewebeverstärktes Klebeband für die Verklebung von Profil- und Sockel-
leisten, etc.
Ultrabond Eco V4SP leitfähig ist ein heller, leitfähiger, sehr emissionsarmer Dispersions-
klebstoff für ableitfähige Textil-, PVC- und Gummibeläge auf normgerechten Untergründen im
Innenbereich.
Ultrabond Eco V4 SP ist ein sehr emissionsarmer Dispersionsklebstoff für Vinyl-, Schaumpols-
ter- und Gummibeläge in Bahnen und Fliesen bis 4 mm, Linoleum-, Textil- und Nadelvliesbeläge
(Einer für alle) auf saugenden und nicht saugenden Untergründen.
Ultrabond ECO 540 ist ein sehr emissionsarmer Dispersionsklebstoff mit hoher Anfangshaf-
tung speziell für Linoleum.
