4. Procedures
Group the class into 3. Let each group arrange the jumbled letter. After arranging it, let
them post their ouput in the board.

4.2 Activity
With the same groupings, provide each group a Task Card. A Task Card contains an
article for the group to be read and analyze. Afterwards, they need to perform the activity
10 minutes in the Task Card.
4.3 Analysis
5 minutes
Let each group identify the type of text assigned to them through the given article. Let
them write in the manila paper the attributes of their assigned article. (The activity can be
found in the Task Card)
4.4 Abstraction Based on the activity, ask the students the following questions:
1. What are the types of text?
2. Distinguish between and among Informative Writing, Literary Writing and Journalistic

4.5 Application Let the class identify the text type of the following articles: (See Attachment #1)
