Evidence: Recycling campaign

Recycling is very important if we want to preserve our planet clean and stable
for future generations.

In this evidence you are going to organize a recycling campaign for your
school / company. You are going to design a poster and explain the campaign
to your partners.

Poster:

• Design a creative poster where you show what the campaign is about, what
people should do in the campaign and the benefits they will obtain by
collaborating in the campaign.

• Here are some tips for the poster:

o Keep it visual. Use images to illustrate your ideas rather than text. That
way the poster will be easier to understand. If you are going to include
text, keep the ideas short and easy to read.

o Use big texts.

o Make it colorful.

o Pick a good title.


• You can design the poster in cardboard and upload a photo of it as
evidence, or you can create it in Microsoft PowerPoint.

Explaining the poster:

• Record an audio file where you explain the campaign and describe the
poster.

• Use zero and first conditional in the explanation: “if we recycle in our office,
we can use less paper”

• Important aspects for the description:

o What the campaign is about.

o What people should do in the campaign: The materials they have to


classify, the place where they need to take these materials, etc.

o The benefits they will obtain by collaborating in the campaign.

When you finish your work, send to your instructor the poster and the audio file
as evidence through the platform as follows:

1. Click the title of this evidence.


2. Click Examinar mi equipo and look for the files in your computer. Make sure
the files are attached.
3. Leave a comment for the instructor (optional).
4. Click Enviar.

Important: The platform will only allow you to submit your files once. Please,
make sure you upload the two (2) files when submitting your evidence.

Note: This evidence is an individual activity. Remember to check the learning


guide in order to know if you have done all the assigned activities, know how to
develop them and deliver them correctly.

 Recycling is to subject used materials or waste to a process of


transformation or exploitation so that they can be used again.In this
campaign the materials we can recycle are many, paper and paperboard,
glass, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, some plastics, textiles, woodsand
electronic components are included.
  We will save many trees if we recycle paper.
 When we recycle daily, we save time and money in the development of
new products.
  If we recycle, overexploitation of natural resources and air and water
pollution are reduced.
  If we recycle, the pressure on existing landfills will be reduced, it will
increase its useful life and will reduce the need to create new landfills.
  If we recycle we give the planet time to reforest.
 If we have social responsibility we recycle and preserve the environment.
