A Day in The Life Of A President

Today, we live in a world of great changes that bring us closer to an unpredictable future. In this context,
an excellent factor that prepares us for the survival of the nation, the economy, and it is precisely here
where the largest anomalies are occurring in the human history. Everyday talk is already concerned
about the phenomena that threatens not only our own future but that of all families and the country
itself.

First of all, I would like to learn how to be a president. I’m not able to express discontentment about
how it is now, as I don’t know what is going on behind the scenes, but certainly, and of the utmost
importance, I would work to build this ability. Probably there aren’t any courses, but a large spectrum of
knowledge is necessary for leading a country. One question arises naturally, now. Should I, as a
president, know all these scientific pieces of information or should I have people who I trust to advise
me? Probably a little bit of both. As a president, I would, however, try to communicate with the people I
hire. They should be experts in their fields and they should keep track of all the developing tech cities or
changes. In fewer words, they should be good at what they do. That leads me to the second thing I
would do if I were the president.

Secondly, I would try to build a system based on ability and knowledge. I would find people with the
necessary ability and put them in office. Ancient Rome, as an example, was, sadly too often, accused of
systemic corruption. I would obliterate this bane by placing people with a foundation of principles and
knowledge that would not allow them to be corrupt.

Last but not the least, I would make major changes in the educational system. A recurrent theme in my
mind, education is the root of all success. I do strongly believe that education is where we should invest
resources and time. I would try to lower the amount of information required for the examination
process and change the way of teaching and assessing, so the student might find teaching more
interesting.

If I were to be the president, I would not just improve the country in its laws but also increase the
nation’s standard of living. Being the president does not mean to just sit on a seat. No! It means to take
care of the whole nation. It may be a tiring job to do the baby sitting of the nation, but in the end you
raise that baby into an adult and see it to flourish and prosper!

Seeing the country and its people not obeying the laws and not keeping the nation clean does not feel
right. We need to care about ourselves and our nation. The nation in which we are born, we have to
keep it clean and protect it. I will do everything possible for my country such as giving free education to
the poor children, helping homeless people and building good medical facilities. We should think before
doing something drastic, weight the pros and cons, and believe in ourselves.

Being a president is a daunting job but what you do for the nation means that you are trying to build a
safer future for everyone. Just believe and have faith in one’s self. We have to care for our nation and
ourselves and respect it, and nurture it to the best version of what it is destined to be.
