 Create the Necessary Users & Work on Entire User Maintenance.

 Assign the Necessary Access to the Users Upon the Proper Approvals in the form of Roles
& Responsibilities
 Create New Clients & Perform Client Refresh i,e Copy Production Client through Quality
Client for Testing Purpose.
 Necessary Customization Transport are to be Transported to the Quality & then Production
after Approvals (Functional People will Approve)
 Load & Configure New Printers & work with the Daily Printer Problems.
 Daily Monitoring Activities of all the Systems belonging to the Landscape.
 Apply Patches & Implement "SAP Notes" to Enhance the Functionality or Fix the Issue in
the System.


Project Preparation
Basis Admin Work

 One have to design the SAP Landscape Document & get it signed from the IT Manager to
consider as Blueprint.
 Basis Blue Print Comprises of Very Clear Information of I.P Address , Host
Name,SID,Instance Number , Passwords , Sizing Etc .

Basis Activity

 Basis Admin has to load & configure Development System as per the Blueprint & create
logins to our Functional Team
 Load & Configure means Installing of SAP System with Proper Sizing (E.C.C 6.0)
 Applying Permanent License
 Configure TMS with ADMIN User
 Scheduling the "Batch Job" (or)" House Keeping " Job with System User
 Set "Profile Parameter" according to the Users
 Create a "Development" Client as per Requirement
 Perform "Local Copy" with Necessary profile
 Create all "Functional Users" with Necessary Authorizations
 Create Necessary "Developers" with "Developer Access".

Pre-Go live (or) Final Preparation

  Load & Configure the Quality Assurance System & repeat all the activities performed in
Development System
 Transport of all Customized & Newly Developed Objects should be done in the Quality
System Upon a request (or) Approval of Functional Team.
 Regular Basis Activities Performed in Each Phase
 Thorough Health Check up of all the Systems in landscape
 One have to Perform the Daily backup along with the logs by defining Backup Strategy
(Perform in all the three Systems Everyday)

Go-Live & Support Phase

Quality & perform all the Post Installation Process
 Regular Responsibilities in Production System
 Create all the End Users & grant them Necessary Privileges according to the Approvals.
