COURSE SYLLABUS in AT 112-Motorcycle/Small Engine Servicing

theoretical understanding of teaching and technology, but also with practical exposure in industry.

Course Title : Motorcycle/Small Engine Serving
Course Credit : 3 units: 1 hour lecture 6 hours laboratory per week: total of 126 hours/semester
Prerequisite : none

Course Description:

This course consists of competencies that a person must achieve to install, service parts of motorcycle/small engine. Servicing includes checking, inspecting,
cleaning and overhauling mechanical components, assemblies and sub-assemblies of motorcycle/small engine.

Course Intended Learning Outcomes:

At the end of the semester, the students are expected to:


1. define and describe motorcycle and or small engine servicing;
2. diagnose, repair and service motorcycle and or small engine ; and
3. demonstrate work values and maintain integrity of conduct in the workplace.
