Sanctions Practitioners
Compliance Trainers 30 April, 2020

Invitation to a 2 half-day web-based workshop titled:

Confronting North Korean Violations of UN Sanctions:

An Interactive Implementation and Compliance Training for Government and Business

Leaders.

The event will take place on 3-4 June 2020, and is offered to you free of cost. The event is designed
to assist government officials of sanctions implementation and supervisory agencies, as well as
corporate risk management and compliance professionals.

The workshop is part of a series of events sponsored by the US State Department, delivered by CCSI,
and CRDF Global and will convene sanctions practitioners from 10 East- and Southeast Asian
countries. CCSI’s trainers are all experienced former UN investigators who have monitored and
investigated sanctions violations around the world.

Because of the unprecedented complexities of the UN sanctions measures on North Korea, and their
significant relevance to Asian states and companies, we are pleased to present this event, and we
hope that regional experts and practitioners will join us for roundtable and discussion that will
supplement seven training modules and presentations and 10 case studies that can be downloaded
after the event from our website.

We hope to assist in your capacity-building efforts to achieve more effective implementation and
compliance with UN sanctions in order to prevent the reputational and potentially costly ramifications
of compliance failures.
