Experience
Manager - Revenue Management and Pricing ( September 2014 – July 2019 )
LIAT (1974) LTD.
Direct oversight of the strategic operations of the Revenue Management, Pricing and
Reservations functions of LIAT (1974) LTD. Responsible for optimizing the revenue
generated from the sale of seats across all LIAT’s network against the backdrop of
varying cultures, consumer booking, and demand patterns. Revenue responsibility is as
high as USD 90 million annually.
 Determine and manage fare levels and conditions
 Develop and coordinate policies for pricing in support of capacity planning
 Coordinate fare research to develop and evaluate possible pricing scenarios
that achieve revenue targets
 Manage the price structure in booking class assignment in each market
 Develop traffic, yield and revenue evaluations for various pricing scenarios
 Assist in the development of interline relationships with International and
Regional airlines.
 Coordinate the production of daily, weekly and monthly KPI reports and
forward projections
 Forecast passenger demand and allocate seats to different fare classes to ensure
revenue optimization across the entire network

Achievements:
Year on Year Revenue improvement between 2015 – 2018 despite major disruptions to
the company’s operations by natural disasters by as much as 10%.
Re-designed the allocation of fares by utilizing a linear programming optimization
algorithm
Improved yield per passenger between 2015 – 2018
Coordinated with the IT department the review and implementation of a new revenue
management tool and the concomitant training of staff to effectively utilize this system.
Negotiated and executed three (3) new interline contracts and Re-negotiated two (2)
existing interline contracts which realized a 15% increase in the yield from interline
traffic.
Improved both the revenue performance and the number of passengers transported on
the Barbados – Guyana market. Moving this market from number three (3) highest
grossing market to number one (1).
Re-designed the physical layout of the Reservations Department so that the workspace

was more conducive for the staff to comfortably execute their functions.
Reduced absenteeism among the reservations department staff.
Increased productivity in terms of the number of calls taken and reduced the length of
time spent on each call by creating a non-monetary incentive for the department.
Empowered the Reservations department to take ownership for their performance by
commissioning regular customer service refresher training sessions and by promoting
two (2) the senior agents to supervisor and one of the supervisors to Manager, a
position which was vacant for over three (3) years.
Coordinated the design of new Standard Operating Procedures for the Reservations
Department.

Analyze and evaluate strategies which encompass trends in fare usage, revenue, and
markets.
 Review the flight inventory and compare to passenger loads using the revenue
management tools.
