forms, and other office procedures and
terminology.

File Audits 
The HR assistant is responsible for
performing HR file audits to ensure that all
required documents are collected and are
maintained in employee files.

Record Maintenance 
Includes information on employee benefits,
employment status, paid time off, sick time
or any other employee nonproductive
hours. They may also keep files of
performance appraisal information,
grievance or corrective action.

New employees orientation 

Responsible for orienting new employees


to the organization and is the point person
for all new employee questions, going over
the new employee orientation checklist and
making sure new employees have a
designated phone, computer log-in,
workstation, office keys, etc.

Employee Recognition 

Helps in planning and overseeing the


employee recognition events. This could
include planning the annual employee
picnic, Christmas party or overseeing an
employee recognition dinner. They are the
employee cheerleader and helps to create a
fun and engaging employee environment.

Customer and Personal Service 

Knowledge of principles and processes for


providing customer and personal services.
This includes customer needs assessment,
meeting quality standards for services, and
evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Administration and Management 
Knowledge of business and management
principles involved in strategic planning,
resource allocation, human resources
modeling, leadership technique, production
methods, and coordination of people and
resources.

Scheduling 
Setting appointments and arranging
meeting, interviews, HR events and
maintain agendas.

Noteworthy accomplishments during this review period:


Perform all his tasks and functions effectively and efficiently. Best supported human
resources processes by administration, scheduling appointments, conducting orientation,
maintaining records and information. Moreover answered correctly all the new employees
queries in an effective manner.
Areas requiring improvement in job performance (attach the performance
improvement plan for any areas rated needs improvement or unacceptable):
 Does not scored well on employee recognition. As the employees are assets of the company
and they should be handled with care. Employee should take care of the emotions of other
employees and should help to create a fun and engaging employee environment.
 Does not have enough knowledge of dealing with customers. Should focus on employee
needs and then evaluate customer satisfaction and should also work on providing quality
services to customers.
 Administration is viewed by many as “the glue that holds an office together.” So employee
should work on administrating various activities. Moreover employee does not poses
leadership qualities , unable to build effective relationship with his co workers and this can be
improved through open communication among the workers. He must encourage face to face
communication among employees.

Actions taken to improve performance from the previous review:


One of the areas identified in previous performance review Hassan Abid has lacked on some areas of
employees recognition so he attended employee recognition raining, Employee recognition training
empowers him to increase employees morale and make them more engage toward their work.
Communication is a bigger problem that need to b addressed in a timely manner. He needed to be
taught that what are customers expectation. He should have knowledge of the customers need. The
employee is not aware and does not have enough knowledge of dealing with its customers. He is also
lacking at managing his relationship with its client.
There is need of training on how to administer things as the employee does not score so good at
administration.

Professional development goals:

 Attend one seminar on “How to improve your Leadership ”skills with his colleagues
conducted by the organization. Primary focus is to learn new skills and building strong
networking skills.
 Moreover as he was lacking in leadership skills. Took training in the leadership course  which
helped him in meeting organization objectives more quickly as compared to last year.
 An environment of mutual cooperation should be developed at the organization which
allowed everyone to give their feedbacks regarding the company objectives and processes
and to provide effective guidelines following the matter.

First of all I would like to thank you for taking your precious time to evaluate my performance. I am
satisfied with the remarks given by my supervisor and I agree with the performance review ratings. At
the beginning I did not show leadership qualities but now I will work as a dedicated person and help
my team to encounter challenges that comes our way. I will try my best to have knowledge of
customers expectations and of their needs and I will take all the necessary steps in order to improve
myself.
