Nakalilikha ng mga rhythmic pattern gamit ang iba’t ibang note at rest
sa time signature na

Sa palakumpasang , ang bilang na 2 sa itaas ay nagsasaad na

may dalawang kumpas sa isang sukat. Ang bilang 4 sa ibaba ay nagsasabi

4 note o kapat na nota (

na quarter ) ang tumatanggap ng isang kumpas.

Ang eight note ay tumatanggap ng ½ beat

Ang quarter note ay tumatanggap ng 1 beat
Ang half note ay tumataggap ng 2 beats
Ang whole note ay tumatanggap ng 4 beats
 Tandaan: Dalawang beats lang sa bawat measure sa 2 time
signature. 2

Ang rhythmic pattern ay ang pinagsama-samang mga note at rest na naaayon sa

isang nakatakdang time signature.

Ang palakumpasang ay nangangahulugan na may dalawang

kumpas ang bawa’t sukat. Ito ay ipinapakita ng bilang “2” sa itaas.

Ang bilang “4” sa ibaba ay nagsasaad naman na kapat na nota ( )

ang tumatanggap ng isang kumpas

 Ang pagsasama-sama ng mga beat ng dalawahan, tatluhan, o apatan
ay
tinatawag na meter sa musika.
 Ang bawat meter ay binubuo ng malakas at mahinang mga beat.
Kadalasan,
ang unang beat ng bawat meter ay may diin o may accent.
 Ang time signature ang ginagamit na batayan upang maisaayos ng
wasto ang
pagpapangkat ng mga note at rest sa isang measure.
 May iba’t-ibang uri ng time signature na maaaring gamitin sa iba’t-
ibang estilo ng
Musika. Ang mga simpleng time signature ay kinabibilangan ng 2/4,

mga time signature.
