Save the downloaded compressed file (.7z or .zip) and extract the content.

Technical requirements (*): Windows 7, 8, 10 and Excel 2010, 2013, 2016, 2019, 365.

(*) Important: To ensure the correct operation of Excel macros, it is very important to have the latest Office
and Windows updates installed (if Office 2010 is used, it is essential to install Service Pack 2).

Minimum hardware requirements: Multi core processor, 8 GB RAM.

We recommend Windows 10 and Office 2013, 2016, 2019 or 365.

In case of any error send us the following data: Operating System (Windows version, 32 or 64 bits), Office

 2 Activate the license after downloading
Open the Excel file "SILcet_5.0.xlsb” and enable the macros.
Basic requirements to use it are: Windows 7, 8 or 10 / Office 2010, 2013, 2016, 2019 or 365.

A dialog box like this will appear when clicking on the blue button on sheet S0.
If you already have the ACTIVATION KEY, fill out the data and press Activate.

1-Enter the “license key” received by

email after purchasing. It must start
always with “w5” (lowercase) or “m5”
(for Pro Plus), and click on OK
(example: m5-12345678)

2-This is your “System ID” that you

must enter in the form of our website
to get the “Activation Key” (example:
m5-12345678-XXXXXXXX)

 After activating the license, we recommend saving the Excel file .XLSB as your “activated master file”.
You can copy this file and rename it many times.

Remember that your “Activation Key” is unique for each PC, and therefore the “Activation Key” received
only works on your PC. Keep the Activation Key in case you need it in the future. You can use it in any other
PC if it has a license.

SILcet Pro Plus license for several PCs (Multi-user) must be activated by us.

3 Issues / Errors during the execution of Excel

Possible problems that may occur during the process depending on the PC configuration:

-Your protection application is blocking the macros of Excel.

This is something normal. You should go to the “Trust Center” in the options of Excel and adjust the macro
settings of your Excel.

-Message: “Error during macro execution”.

Depending on the PC performance and the installed programs and add-ins some macro error message
may appear. It’s not important if it doesn’t happen often. If the error message appears several times and
always in the same situation, please contact us (info@safetyandsis.com) to try to solve it. We need your
feedback to make a 100% error free software.

Make sure your Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office are both updated.
Important: To ensure the correct operation of Excel macros, it is very important to have the latest Office
and Windows updates installed (if Office 2010 is used, it is essential to install Service Pack 2).

We recommend Windows 10 and Office 2013, 2016, 2019 or 365 (only professional editions).
In case of any error send us the following data: Operating System (Windows version, 32 or 64 bits), Office
version (2010, 2013, 2016, 2019 or 365, 32 or 64 bits) and description of the error.

For the right operation of the Excel macros, when installing MS-Office, you should install all
components of VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) or you can add them afterwards.

-Error 6000
This error means that Excel cannot read the date of the PC, it may be because some component of the
Visual Basic libraries is missing or there is some incompatibility with some installed program. If the problem
persists, contact us to see if we can help you to solve it.

-Error 5000
This error is related to the hard disk C of your PC. Means that Excel cannot read the serial number from the
hard disk. It may be because some component of the Visual Basic libraries is missing, there is some
incompatibility with some installed program or there is a hardware problem on the hard disk. If the problem
persists, contact us to see if we can help you to solve it.

 -Potential macro error when working inside company networks.
Sometimes there are protection routines in the company networks that can enter in conflict the first time
the macros are enabled. In these cases, just click on "accept" or "ok" to continue.

-The VB password prompt problem.

This is a rare problem that can occurs when you are using a workbook or add-in with a Visual Basic project.
When you quit Excel, you are asked several times for a password to open the VB project.
It is not the fault of the Excel workbook, but of another third-party software application that apparently
does not release resources when it finishes with them.

4 How to update the Excel file

If you have downloaded a new version of SILcet then you need to activate the license in this new Excel file.
Just use the same Activation Key to activate the new Excel file. Your license is still valid till the expiration
date (the license of versions SILcet 2.0, 3.0, 4.0 and 5.0 Pro is not valid for SILcet 5.0 Pro Plus).

5 About execution speed of Excel

Excel has two main calculation modes, which let you control when calculation occurs:

• Automatic calculation - Formulas are automatically recalculated when you make a change.
• Manual calculation - Formulas are recalculated only when you request it (for example, by pressing
F9).

By default Excel is set to Automatic calculation mode. Depending on amount of open Excel workbooks and
formulas and PC performance, each recalculation can take a few milliseconds or even several seconds or
minutes. When recalculation takes more than 1 second it starts to be annoying.

Macro execution are also affected by the quantity of open workbooks, formulas and PC performance. For
these reasons it’s recommended to consider this when using large Excel files.

The execution speed formulas and macros can vary a lot depending on main three following factors:

1-Amount of formulas of open Excel workbooks.

If there are other Excel files open in the same instance it is recommended to close them to avoid to refresh
all the formulas when any cell is modified. If the open file is small it is not necessary, but if it’s a large file
with a lot of formulas it is recommended to close it.

2-PC performance.
PC features are also important. If your PC performance is not good it is essential to follow the
recommendations of previous point.

6 License Agreement
SILcet is an application developed with MS-Excel® program. It is necessary to install Microsoft Excel program (2010, 2013, 2016, 2019
or 365) and Windows® operating system (7, 8, 10).

The payment of the product gives the customer a license to use it based on the terms and conditions specified herein.

Being a standard application, purchasing the license does not include any custom or customized support. A basic support by email is
included. Customer can also consult the available manuals and videos, and/or communicate, send questions or suggestions for
improvements through the contact form at http://safetyandsis.com

Enertria S.L. owns and holds the rights (expressly including the rights of reproduction, modification, distribution and transformation) of
the applications licensed, including under licensed software, both the calculation methodology and formulas used as appearance,
structure, organization, documentation and videos created to promote it. The licensed software is protected by intellectual property laws
and rights of Spanish author, as well as international conventions and treaties on the subject signed by Spain.

Content of the license

• Use of the software product. This license includes the right to install the licensed product software on one computer (PC) and use it for
a period of 1 year from the payment confirmation. Licenses purchased together with some Training Courses could be limited to less
than 1 year depending on each specific case.

Enertria will send the client a license number (license key) and one activation key. To get the “activation key” the user will provide to
Enertria the “system ID” of his/her PC.

Software updates. The user can make free upgrades only during period of validity of the license. Normally these updates contain minor
improvements, bug fixes and new features. The update does not constitute the granting of a second license.

• Renewal of the license.

Once the license expired, the customer may renew it by purchasing a new license (license key + activation key) under the terms of sale
in force at the time of purchase.

LIMITATIONS OF THE LICENSE.

•Reverse engineering . You may not apply reverse engineering, decompile or disassemble the Software, or perform any other operation
that tends to discover the source code, unless otherwise authorized by Enertria, which reserves the right to require the financial
compensation deemed appropriate to grant such permission.

•Separation of components. The use of Software as a single product is authorized. The component parts may not be separated or use
them separately.

•Transmission. You may not rent, lease, lend or distribute the software product under license without the express permission of Enertria,
SL.

•Reservation of Rights. Enertria expressly reserves the rights to exploit the software including the rights of reproduction, transformation,
distribution and public communication in all possible forms of exploitation known at present or that may develop in the future. Being a
standard software product, you are not authorized to process it or reproduce it, including the correction of errors, although such acts may
be required for the use thereof by the legitimate user, in accordance with its given purpose. In the event that you needed reproduction or
processing of the product software for the reasons stated above at this point, you must request specific authorization to Enertria SL, which
reserves the right to demand compensation as it deems appropriate.

Warranty and Limitation of Liability

• Exclusion of guarantees. Except for the guarantees legally established by the Spanish legislation, Enertria does not provide any additional
guarantee to which they are legally enforceable. Licensee assumes all responsibility arising from the use or misuse of the software to any
person or body, expressly exonerating Enertria any liability for its use or misuse. Except for the express warranty stated above, the product
is provided 'as it is', with no other warranties, express or implied, including without limitation and not limited to, warranties of
merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, enjoyment and non-infringement of third party rights, all
in connection with the licensed software product. Choosing the right program to the desired results, as well as its installation, use and
results are the responsibility of the licensee. No information or verbal or written advice provided by Enertria or representative thereof,
shall constitute a warranty.

• Limitation of Liability. Within legal limits established by the Spanish legislation, Enertria SL will not be responsible in any way for any
personal injury, lost profits or consequential damages or other damages, including damages for loss of profits or data, interruption of
business or any other damage or commercial losses, resulting from or related to the use or misuse of the licensed software product,
although Enertria had been informed of the possibility of such damages. Enertria expressly disclaims any liability that overcomes these
limitations.

Return policy

Due to the nature of the products Enertria does not accept returns. Users may, prior to purchase, download the free trial version to check
for proper operation on his/her computer and its compatibility with the installed versions of MS-Excel ® and Windows ®.

Users who do not agree with the amendments can communicate it, and at the date of expiration of the license, may stop using the
services and products from Enertria.
