 Avoid any jokes based on race, sex, or
ethnicity or those are vulgar in any way
Don’t allow your customers to tell jokes on
the microphone.
 Try to tie in your jokes to a passing or relevant
attraction.
 Keep your jokes as short as possible.
 Don’t exclude corny jokes.
 Draw on personal escorting experiences for
humor.
• Working with different age groups:
• STUDENTS
• Pose special challenges in terms of discipline,
motivation, and interest level.
• Design to have longer hours, so as to avoid
pandemonium in hotels.
• Keep asking questions.
• Use creative techniques to draw students into the
experience.
