THE TEMPTATIONS OF JESUS

Jesus is TEMPTED in the desert…

 WHAT HAPPENED TO JESUS AFTER HIS BAPTISM?

 He was led into the wilderness by the Holy
Spirit.
 The wilderness was a desert – bare,
rocky and dry. Nobody lived there but
wild animals.
 Jesus was alone there for 40 days and
40 nights, with no food or water

 SATAN APPEARED TO TEMPT JESUS. HE KNEW HE

MUST BE VERY HUNGRY.

SATAN TRIED TO TEMPT JESUS A SECOND TIME. HE

LED HIM HIGH ABOVE THE CITY OF JERUSALEM.

SATAN TRIED TO TEMPT JESUS A THIRD TIME ON TOP

OF A MOUNTAIN.

SATAN WENT AWAY AND JESUS WAS LEFT IN PEACE.

GOD SENT HIS ANGELS TO LOOK AFTER HIM AND
STRENGTHEN HIM AFTER HIS TEST.

 THE PASSION AND THE DEATH OF JESUS
