Subject: Letter of Explanation/Study Plan

Dear Officer,

Since when I rendered my life to Jesus Christ, my heart born to display His Love through the Bible,
people used to say I have a Spiritual gift to teach and preach the Word of God, now I am certain this a
fact. In order to be prepared to serve The Lord Jesus Christ I attended the college here in my country at
ISTEL (Instituto Superior de Teologia Evangelica no Lubango), where a studied Theology for 5 years, from
2014 to 2018. At the end (2018), I had done a research concerning Conception of the Names of God in
Angolan culture, in the Light of Original Languages of the Bible. During that time in Lubango I was a
mentee of Jonathan Holden, Cara Holden and Janet Holden, whom had provided me a residence for 3
years, payed my tuition fee for one semester and payed my English course at Know-How center in
Lubango for 3 years. Likewise, they will provide me all financial support during my stay in Canada,
including my English Academic Purpose (EAP) program, which begin in June 2020. Their intention is to
see me as one of the best Bible teacher for Angolan communities. Currently, I am a teacher at Instituto
Médio Bíblico e Pedagógico (IMBP) in Luanda, and I am serving in my local church as Bible teacher as
well as Administrative Assistant in headquarter of our Church.

In Academic field, I set my mind to fulfil four main aims, first, to be a New Testament translation
consultant; second, Teach Biblical Greek in theological schools and seminaries; Third Be a theologian
writer; and fourth establish a Conservative Magazine in my country; that is why I have chosen Bible
Studies- New Testament degree program.

To concretize my goals, I have selected study in Canada motivated for three reason:

1. Most people who have been help and produce Bible literature for my church here in Angola have
come from Canada:
2. Because I had been living with Canadian people, I have learned a lot about Canada, thus I became
wonderfully amazed with Canadian Culture, which I believe it will enhance my career:
3. I intend to pursue high quality education, thus, Canada is the best option due to its worldwide
reputation with top-quality education. Besides, great number of Study Material at Master level are in
English, so Study in Canada will put me close to high education and world of universal literature, I have
chosen Acadia Divinity College (ADC) Because of their reputation on excellent theological education and
their Theological trend.

After a two long-years of study in ADC, my intention is return to my country and work in educational
projects with theological seminaries and churches, for instance, produce Biblical study materials. My
desire is to equip as many leader and pastor as I can, and train educators to teach other on Bible and
theological basis. On the other hand, I really want to come back in Angola because I have a fiancée her
names is Raquel Ivosa Lopes, we will get married after two years. Due to the fact that, I am the oldest of
my brothers, I intend to return to take care of my parents and my little brothers.
