Speedwayevents.pl, in consultation with FIM Europe and the Polish Motor

Association, would like to announce the new date of the European
Individual Ice Speedway Championship. Competition for the title of
European Champion is scheduled for December 5th, 2020 in the Arena Lodowa
in Tomaszów Mazowiecki.

Originally, the event was to take place on March 21st. But due to a
pandemic situation related to the spread of SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus
the organizers were forced to cancel it.

– We are glad that we managed to find the optimal date for everyone.
We hope that in December the event will be able to take place with
the participation of fans – says Piotr Szymański, chairman of the FIM
Europe Track Racing Commission.

The tournament, that will select the best rider of the Old Continent,
will be a one-day competition. The day before, on December 4th, there
will be a training session. In the stake we will see 16 riders from
10 countries, including one representative of our country – Michał
Knapp.

Important information for fans! Tickets bought for the March event
date are not valid. Ticketco, the ticket system operator, refunds
money for tickets. The vast majority of supporters have already
benefited from this. Those who have not done so, please contact us at
the email address: zwroty@speedwayevents.pl.

We will inform you about the possible start of selling tickets for
the December event when it is possible. According to the current
regulations, the participation of the public during the competition
in the hall is not allowed.

The honorary patronage over the event was taken by MEP Ryszard
Czarnecki.
