I. Objective
At the end of the lesson the students should be able to:
a. Define fried eggs.
b. Identify the different types of fried egg dishes.
c. Give the standard qualities of each type of egg dishes
d. Prepare variety of egg dishes.

1. Motivation
Group the students into two. Instruct them to arrange the prepared Jumbled letters and let them
paste it on board.
1. Sunny side-up
2. Basted
3. Over easy
4. Over medium
5. Over hard
Then ask them: What can you say about the words that come out after arranging the jumbled letters?
2. Presentation
1. What is fried eggs?
2. What are the different types of fried eggs?
3. What are the standard qualities of the different types of fried eggs?
(Show pictures of the different types of fried eggs.)

3. Generalization
1. Give the definition of fried eggs?
2. What are the types of fried eggs and describe each.
3. Why do we need to familiarize the different types of fried eggs?
4. Application
The class will be divided into five. Each group will be given a specific type of fried egg dish to be
performed individually by the members.
Instruct the learners to observe Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) procedures during their
performance. (KRA2, Obj 4, MOV 2 – Classroom management strategies that engage learners in activities/tasks
in different physical learning environments.

5 Follows correctly the procedures in preparing and cooking fried egg and performs the skill very satisfactorily
without supervision and with initiative and adaptability to problem situations.
4 Follows correctly the procedures in preparing and cooking fried egg and performs the skill satisfactorily
without assistance or supervision.
3 Follows correctly the procedures in preparing and cooking fried egg with minor errors and performs the skill
less satisfactorily with some assistance and/or supervision.
2 Was not able to follow the procedures in preparing and cooking fried egg and performs the skill
unsatisfactorily.
