My hypothesis is that radiation
effects bad and in good way the
plants,but  it also kills them.
Sources of
radiation
The composition of the earth's crust is
an important sources of natural
radiation. Some main contributors are
the natural depositors of: Uranium,
Potassium and Thorium. In their natural
decomposition it realize small amounts
of ionizing radiation. Uranium is used to
boil water and generate steam and
create energy by moving turbines
(Uranium, radioactive material) but
when uranium melts it disintegrates
into particles that escape to the
atmosphere.
Ionizing
Electromagnetic radiation: Propagates
radiation through electric and magnetic fields.
Like light, and also mass give off with the
energy of the movement. Solar radiation: Is the
set of electromagnetic radiation emitted by the
sun. (EXAMPLES OF ELECTROMAGNETIC
RADIATION: Gamma and x rays  are good
examples. UV radiation: The ultraviolet  -Visual changes of structure

waves of particles. Is a kind of electromagnetic
radiation that can cause sun burns, also affect
the tissue of the skin. A big quantity of
radiation can kill trees, the plant will get sick
and later it dies. The young plants can die early
than the olds. Electromagnetic spectrum: Is
the energy distribution of electromagnetic
waves, ranging from short-range gamma rays

Corpuscular radiation: Is the propagation of

The negative things just affect the plant (except if the plant
absorb nuclear  radiation from the earth, then the plant is
poisonous). The UV radiation comes from the sun in waves
of particles, the UV radiation can create burn tissue. in the
seeds they grow slowly and have genetic mutations. There
are few positive effects in the plant, a positive thing is that
in a right amount of radiation in a seed can protect it from

According to its energy, the radiation is classified between
ionizing and non-ionizing.Ionizers have the ability to tear
electrons from cells. Non-ionizing are not capable of
pulling electrons from cells. Ionizing radiation Is a type of
energy released by atoms in the form of electromagnetic
waves.
Non-Ionizing
Nuclear radiation: It is a type of radiation
used in nuclear plants. Uranium is used
to boil water and generate steam and

If a seed get affected by radiation it will grow
slowly,lose fertility, or genetic mutations. But
the correct amount of radiation can protect
the plant from microorganism. They grow
correct amount protect them.
Effects
Radiation affect all
living things as well as
the plant cells. If the
levels of radiation
increase, it will be
worse the effects.
