1. The Network License Server Administrator


• Within Sprint
• Assigns User ID and Password for End Users
• Establishes number of days before a license expires
• Add new user accounts
• Resets a user account license
2. The License User
• Is assigned a user ID and password
• Uses the license manager application to download, extend or restore a license for XCAL-M or
XCAP-M
3. License User Account
• Can be downloaded into one laptop computer at a time
• It must be restored on first PC prior to changing to another PC

• Accuver Technical Support can be contacted for any technical issues concerning Network License
Server.
• User must follow license download procedure described in this section prior to contacting Support

1. Download the License Manager application which is in the helpdesk website

• Select the Attachments

• After the zip file is downloaded copy it into a new folder on the Desktop.

Common Error Messages Accuver
1. No Download option is available
• If Download button is grayed out then it means that the User account has been downloaded in
another laptop PC.
• Please check if this license can be restored from the other user laptop or contact Sprint Admin to
assign new user account.

2. Error
• You do not have Network License indicates also that the user account is not available because it has
already been downloaded.
• Please check if this license can be restored from the other user laptop or contact Sprint Admin to
assign new user account.

Error Code: 1
• Incorrect ID or Password, check the ID or Password and try again.
• This error is also triggered when the User account status has been changed to inactive. Contact the Sprint
admin and request new user account or change status back to active (connect)

Error Code: 4
• Unavailable License Key! means that in the License Key Info Management Max Count = Now Use Count
• Currently there is no license available to download until at least one user restores the license
• If downloading a license is urgently needed then please contact the Sprint Network License Admin

1. Driver Installation
• Ibflex driver is available inside XCAL-M ->IBFlex(PCTEL) folder

• SeeGull Assistant is also available. Use SeeGull Assistant to upgrade scanner options
Port Setting Accuver
1. Setup the Scanner
• Scanner drivers must be installed prior to connecting unit to laptop PC

• Power up the Scanner (booting time ~ 1 minute)


 SYS LED changes color at startup
 Then it will be intermittently green
 Finally (~ 1min or less) it must settle to steady green
• Connect RF and GPS antennas
• Connect scanner USB cable to laptop
• Open Device Manager to check for The PCTEL MX Scanner (same as IBflex)
2. Launch XCAL-M and open Port Setting Scanner Alias Setting

The Ibflex scanner can be setup by following the steps below.
1. Enter Interface name
2. Select Scanner Type = PCTEL IBflex

1. In RAT Lock section press Read button, XCAL will request Mode Preference state from the UE
2. Select wanted Mode Preference. In the following example, LTE Only (30) is mode of the UE that has been read
by XCAL
3. Press Write button, XCAL sends request to write new network mode

LTE Only (30) has been requested to change to WCDMA Only (14)
5. Restart the device. After restarting mobile the UE network mode will be set as the requested Mode Preference

Samsung Galaxy S4 USB Tethering Accuver
The following is a known issue with SPH-L720T Android version 4.4.2.
If a device has USB Tethering enable and if rebooting the mobile is done then it will not allow to enable USB
Tethering.

The work around is to change the USB Settings from RNDIS+DM+MODEM to other option like RMNET+DM+MODEM
and then return to RNDIS+DM+MODEM. Then select USB Tethering
