What are the powers and composition of disposable committee?

According to the second schedule part 1 disposal committee has the Powers to sell surplus or un-
serviceable vehicles / machinery / equipment / spares / stores / stocks by auction.

1 Administrative Department in the Committee. Full Powers.
2 Officers in Category-I in the Committee. Full Powers.
3 Officers in Category-II Up to Rs.1.000 million at a
time.
4 Officers in Category-III. up to Rs.0.25 million at a
time.

The disposal committee shall be as under: -

Officer in Category-I of the concerned Department. Chairman


A representative of S&GAD not below the rank of a BS-18. Member
A representative of Finance Department not below the rank of BS-18. Member

What is the criterion for vehicles to be declared as unserviceable?

According to the second schedule part 1 following authorities has the Power to declare vehicles /
machinery / equipment / spares / stores / stocks as unserviceable.

2 Officers in Category-I. Full Powers.
3 Officers in Category-II Up to the value of Rs.0.500
million per item
4 Officers in Category-III. Up to the value of Rs.0.100
million per item.

Note 1: In case of vehicles, minimum distance of three lac kilometers and for motor cycles /
scooters two lac kilometers shall be the criterion for replacement respectively.

Note 2: The sanctioned strength of vehicles / motor cycles / scooters in an Administrative


Department / functional unit shall be approved by Finance Department to keep the number of
vehicles / motor cycles / scooters in a Department in line with the valid need.
What are the Powers to sanction medical reimbursement case exercise by drawing and
disbursing officer?

According to second schedule part 1 following authorities has Power to sanction reimbursement
of medical charges.

case.
2 Head of Attached Department. Up to Rs.1.000 million in each
case
3 Officers in Category-I in the Committee. Up to Rs.0.500 million in each
case.
4 Officers in Category-II Up to Rs.0.200 million in each
case
5 Officers in Category-III. Up to Rs.0.100 million in each
case.
6 Officer in Category-IV Up to Rs.0.050 million in each
case.
7 Registrar, Lahore High Court, Lahore. Up to Rs.1.500 million in each
case
8 District and Session Judge. Up to Rs.0.500 million in each
case
