Attainment of Course Outcomes

3.2.1. Describe the assessment processes used to gather the data upon which the evaluation of
Course Outcome is based (10)

Assessment Process Evaluation


Theory
Class tests Class tests are conducted after completion of
unit for 10 marks.
Prelim exam Conducted before End-sem exam based on
entire syllabus for 70 marks
In- sem Exam Will be conducted as per SSPU schedule for
Unit 1, 2 and 3 for 30 marks
End- semester Exam Will be conducted as per SSPU schedule at end
of semester for 70 marks
Laboratory
Practical/ Oral exam Will be conducted as per SSPU schedule at end
of semester
Project Work
Final Year Projects Students will be divided into groups, wherein
each group will have a maximum of 4 students.
Every group will be mentored by a faculty. Four
reviews will be conducted and the students will
be reviewed by a panel of Professors.
Others
Assignments Six Assignments per subject will be given to
students
Tutorials Tutorial questions will be provided to make the
students solve more problems.
Seminars In 7th semester, students will have to present
seminar in-front of external examiner panel
along with two internal review in-front of
professor panel appointed by Head of
department.
Course Feedback Once in a semester
Online tests/ Quiz

Survey:

Alumni survey: Get the feedback from the Alumni for the improvement of infrastructure, library
facilities, placement activities and industryinstitute interaction.

Student Entry survey: Get the expectations from the students during the orientation programme to
know their requirements for the their improvement

Student Exit survey: Get the feedback from the students after their course completion for the
betterment of the department

Feedback:
Student End Semester Feedback: Get the feedback after sylLabus completion to improve teaching-
learning process (Once in a semester)

Parent Feedback: Get the feedback from the parents during the orientation programme for the
improvement of the student performance and conduct. (Once during the orientation programme
and as and when needed)

Industry feedback: Get the feedback from the industry to know the gaps to be filled to improve our
students‟ skill and placement count. (After every campus drive, guest lecture, workshop and
seminar).
