Ans. He lived on his mother's milk before he could eat grass.
b) What happened Black Beauty was old enough to eat grass?
Ans. As soon as Black Beauty was old enough to eat grass , his mother used to go out to work day time.
c) What advice did Black Beauty's mother give him?
Ans. Black Beauty's mother’s advice was to grow up gentle and good and never learn bad ways.
d) What does the master do?
Ans. The master lived in the countryside, kept horses and went to market; he is the owner of the farm.
e) What do we learn about Black Beauty’s parents?
Ans. Black Beauty’s grandfather Won the cup at the new market races and his grandma had a very
sweet tamper.
f) What did the master call Black Beauty and why?
Ans. The master called Black Beauty Darkie because he was a dull black colored.
g) Who is old Daniel?
Ans. Old Daniel was the man who looked after horses.

 These questions are more difficult.


h) Why did the boy throw stones at horses?
Ans. The boy was bored and liked to have what he called fun by making the horses gallop.
i) Who was the boy and what happened to him when he was caught?
Ans. The boy worked on the farm as a ploughboy .He caught by the master who hits him, shouts at him,
and dismisses him from his job.

Ans. Sometimes the stones hit them and hurt them.
