ABSTRACT

The data mining is defined as shifting through very large amounts of data for useful
information. There are some of the most important and popular data mining techniques that are
association rules, classification, clustering, prediction and sequential patterns .In data mining
techniques we have used variety of applications.

But as we are dealing with the topic related to disease we will consider the healthcare
industry where data mining plays an important role for predicting diseases .For detecting a disease
we consider number of tests from the treatment history of patient and we can also reduce number of
tests based on the disease using data mining .This reduced test plays an important role in time and
performance.
