Lesson Plan in Cookery NC II

I. OBJECTIVE/S: At the end of one period, the students will be able to:
a. Identify tools, equipment, and utensils needed in the
preparation of salad and dressing.
b. Cleaning, sanitizing, and preparing tools, utensils and
equipment in a given tasks.

II. SUBJECT MATTER: Prepare Salad and Dressing


Topic: Tools, Equipment, and utensils needed in
preparing salad and dressing
Sub Topic: Cleaning, sanitizing, and preparing tools,

Motivation – Ramble Letters of the name of tools, equipment, and
utensils
B. Lesson Proper
1. Activity
a. Activity I – Naming of tools, equipment, and utensils.
Within 20 minutes let student name the different tools,
equipment, and utensils in preparing salad and dressing which
are set-up on the working table/s within the laboratory. (Outputs
will be check after the discussion)

b. Activity II – Match the cleaning procedure applicable for tools,
equipment, and utensils
Call random students to match the tools/equipment/utensils to
the cleaning procedure.
2. Analysis
a. How do you feel about the activity?
b. What was the hardest part of doing the activity and what did you
learn as far as the activity is concerned?
3. Abstraction
*Lecture
a. Why do we have to identify the different tools, equipment, and
utensils used in preparing salad?
b. What procedure do you think is applicable for the tools,
equipment, and utensils?
4. Application
Call at least 3 students to pick a tool/equipment/utensils, let them
name it what is it used and they must demonstrate how
clean/sanitize it.

IV. ASSESSMENT/EVALUATION:
RESTRICTED ESSAY: briefly answer the following question highlighting
both claims and evidences.
1. What are the different tools, equipment, and utensils that can be
used in preparing salad and dressing?
2. How cleaning, sanitizing, and preparing is done for the following
tools, equipment, and utensils:
a. Mixing bowl
b. Blender
c. Wooden spoon
V. ASSIGNMENT/AGREEMENT:
Make your own unique deluxe hotel worthy salad recipe using ingredients
that can be found in the Gulayan sa Paaralan and place it in a 1 whole
sheet of paper.
