 Amassed an overall experience of more than 34 years in field of hydropower

being involved very actively at Pakistan’s Mega Hydropower Projects of Tarbela
and Mangla for decades during construction and also in operation and
maintenance.

 Possesses the experience of working in Area Electricity Board (Now DISCO) as

Deputy Director Design and as Deputy Director Purchase Projects responsible for
scrutiny of supply of power cases and tender evaluation of distribution material
under ADB Loans.

 Worked in Saudi Arabia for 2 years being Plant Manager of 135MW Diesel Power
Station at Al-Khamis Cantonment under Ministry of Defence and Aviation.

 At Tarbela, worked on the construction of (4x175MW) and (2x175MW) extension

projects while performing monitoring on behalf of employer and to deal day to day
issues with Consultants during installation, testing and commissioning of power
plants.

 Besides this worked on (4x432MW) Tarbela 3rd Extension Project on Contract

Management and Monitoring. Has worked as Director E&M on 187MW Chashma
Power Complex being posted there during last critical stages of project
construction.

 Since 15th March, 2007 worked as SENIOR ADVISOR ,to NATIONAL

ELECTRIC POWER REGULATIORY AUTHORITY(NEPRA) for 2 years.

 Advised Authority on matters relating to hydropower generation and other related

issues. A very important and prized portfolio demanding a broad exposure and
experience of power sector.
