POSITION TITLE: Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Registrar DIVISION: Surgical Services

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:
To provide effective supervised day to day clinical management of both ambulatory and admitted patients to the Clinical Unit, whilst fulfilling Medical Board of Victoria pre-
registration training requirements.

comorbidities
- The relevant family history and social
circumstances
- A list of current medications
- Documenting known allergies or sensitivities to
pharmacological and other agents
- Performance and documentation of a systemic
patient examination
- Documenting of provisional diagnosis
- Documenting a management plan
- Education of the patient and/or relatives re their
presenting condition, using the concept of
informed consent.
- Recording a discharge plan
- To provide clear and informative discharge
summaries within 24 hours of discharge
- To demonstrate effective time management

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA - SPECIALIST KNOWLEDGE:

Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and/or registration with the appropriate registration authority, including any necessary endorsements, to be provided
prior to commencement of duty

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE –

ESSENTIAL:

 Postgraduate experience in an environment where similar Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery is practised
 Evidence of current AHPRA General Registration

 Evidence that you exhibit high standards of professional behaviour; integrity, punctuality, reliability and ethical practice?
DESIRABLE:
