Consciously we may want a different weight, or a different bank balance however the reality is
when we have more money in our bank than what we find acceptable – we start to “treat”
ourselves – we go to fancier restaurants, we buy things that we don’t necessarily need.
To start to control our destiny – we need to first understand where we are right now!
Human psychology is interesting – we always gravitate up and down a certain number, however
we generally don’t go above a number or below a limit that we have in our minds….
What is funny is that people who make money trading stocks (buying and selling stocks) have
recognized this behavior in stock prices – they call the top limit “Resistance” because the price is
resisting to go higher and the bottom part “support” because it typically bounces up from there.
Here is why that bit of information is exciting for you – day traders – study human psychology and they
know that once you break the line.
The pattern of what we find acceptable changes and doesn’t exactly go back to how it was….
When you recognize the upper limit and lower limits of your weight or height. You can figure out the
number that you must seriously break in order to reset your subconscious setting in your mind.
What is the upper limit of the weight that you have been at in the last 3 months?
What is the lowest weight that you have been at in the last 3 months?
What is the average number that you are most commonly at?
*(this can also apply to waistline as a healthier measure but most people generally don’t know that
range)
What is the upper limit of how much you have in your bank account (do not include loan amounts and
subtract any credit card debt)?
What is the lowest amount that you have had in your account over the last 6 months?
If not what is the weight number that you will need to break?
Highest Weight: 93
Lowest Weight: 87
Reset your number = break highest or lowest number by about ½ your range
(there is no right or wrong answer of the amount to break your goal by – however this is a good starting
point).
