CHORUS
Sa ‘yo lamang ang puso ko
Sa ‘yo lamang ang buhay ko
Kalinisan, pagdaralita
Pagtalima, aking sumpa
Tangan kong kalooban
Sa iyo’y nilalaan
Dahil atas ng pagsuyo
Tumalima lamang sa ‘yo
Leader: Blessed are you, Lord our God, lover of soulsyou uphold us in life and sustain us in death: to
you be glory and praise for ever! For the darkness of this age is passing away as Christ the
bright and morning star brings to his saints the light of life. As you give light to those in
darkness who walk in the shadow of death so remember in your kingdom your faithful
servants that death may be for them the gate to life and to unending fellowship with you;
where with your saints you live and reign one in the perfect union of love now and for ever.
All: Amen.
Leader: Let us be seated
Reader 1:
Isaiah 51:9-16
Awake, awake, arm of the LORD, clothe yourself with strength!
Awake, as in days gone by, as in generations of old.
Was it not you who cut Rahab to pieces, who pierced that monster through?
Was it not you who dried up the sea, the waters of the great deep,
who made a road in the depths of the sea so that the redeemed might cross over?
Those the LORD has rescued will return. They will enter Zion with singing;
everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them,
and sorrow and sighing will flee away.
“I, even I, am he who comforts you. Who are you that you fear mere mortals,
human beings who are but grass, that you forget the LORD your Maker,
who stretches out the heavens and who lays the foundations of the earth,
that you live in constant terror every day because of the wrath of the oppressor,
who is bent on destruction? For where is the wrath of the oppressor?
The cowering prisoners will soon be set free; they will not die in their dungeon, nor will they lack
bread. For I am the LORD your God, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar— the LORD Almighty is
his name. I have put my words in your mouth and covered you with the shadow of my hand— I who
set the heavens in place, wholaid the foundations of the earth,
Responsorial Psalm:
One Thing I Ask
One thing I ask, To Dwell in the house of the Lord, all my days,
To gaze on His goodness and walk in His ways
He will shelter me, He will be my strength.
In the triumph that He brings me, I can hold my head high.
In His house I shall lift up my voice. I will sing, I will praise the Lord.

Leader: Let us all stand to acclaim the Gospel
Song: Alleluya
Alleluya, Alleluya,
Kami ay gawin mong daan.
Ng Iyong pag-ibig, kapayapaan, at katarungan.
Alleluya.

INTRODUCTION:
It is an important day when we gather together to honor a life and mourn a death. Time stands still
for just a moment as we stand here to acknowledge that someone has touched our lives, has left an
imprint on our hearts and that our souls are eternally changed. Eric left this life on January 11, 2020
but his spirit and his living made a difference and will continue to do so as long as each of you
remember him in your hearts and carry the lessons of his life with you. You now are the
representatives and the ambassadors of he’s legacy. He gave you wonderful gifts of kindness,
graciousness, strength, acceptance and love. He showed you how to live with challenges and
struggles and how to survive. While not every moment was easy and not every memory etched in
gold, in the final analysis, He gave to each of you every inch of what he had to offer. He never held
Leader: To shine on those who dwell in darkness and the shadow of death,
All: And to guide our feet into the way of peace.
Leader: Grant that all who have been baptised into Christ's death and resurrection may die to sin and
rise to newness of life, and that through the grave and gate of death we may pass with him
to our joyful resurrection. Lord hear us;
All: Lord graciously hear us.
Leader: Grant to us who are still in our pilgrimage, and who walk as yet by faith, that your Holy Spirit
may lead us in holiness and righteousness all our days. Lord hear us;
All: Lord graciously hear us.
Leader: Grant to your faithful people pardon and peace, that we may be cleansed from all our sins
and serve you with a quiet mind. Lord hear us;
All: Lord graciously hear us.
Leader: Grant to all who mourn a sure confidence in your loving care that, casting all their sorrow on
you, they may know the consolation of your love. Lord hear us;
All: Lord graciously hear us.
Leader: May we have strength to meet the days ahead in the joyful expectation of eternal life with
those we love. Lord hear us;
All: Lord graciously hear us.
Leader: Help us, we pray, in the midst of things we cannot understand, to believe and trust in the
communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins and the resurrection to life everlasting.
Lord hear us;
All: Lord graciously hear us.
Leader: Grant us grace to entrust ___________ to your never-failing love which sustained him/ her in
this life. Enfold him/ her in the arms of your mercy, and remember _____________
according to the favour you bear for your people. Lord hear us;
All: Lord graciously hear us.
All: Come then, Lord, and help your people, bought with the price of your own blood; and bring
us with your saints to glory everlasting.
Leader: Hear us, O merciful Father, as we remember in love ______________whom we have placed
in your hands. Acknowledge, we pray, a sheep of your own fold, a lamb of your own flock, a sinner of
your own redeeming. Enfold him/her in the arms of your mercy, in the blessed rest of everlasting
peace, and in the glorious company of the saints in light.
All: Amen.
Chorus:
And He said, 'Cast your burdens upon Me
Those who are heavily laden
Come to Me, all of you who are tired
Of carrying heavy loads
For the yoke I will give you is easy
And My burden is light
Come to Me and I will give you rest.'
FINAL BLESSING: May you go forward today with a small flickering of light in your soul. May the
memories of your loved one begin to bring comfort rather than pain. May the words, touch and
presence of others bring solace. And may you be blessed in your coming in and going out, grateful
for a life lived and a legacy left behind. Go in peace.
