comfortable with it. Then, spend another 15 minutes ​beginning your composition​.

I will really start to create the main part of the
song, but if I need to, I might need to shorten the
song down and change the parts. Meanwhile, I
will put details and try to make the song sound
better.
What did you work on this week?
I worked on the main melody of the song. I
developed the main melody and kind of
shifted to G minor (not completely). There
repeats the main melody again.

developments and maybe some chord shifts
to the song. I am planning to make the song
come back to the main melody after the

This week, I think I worked for 1 hour and a
half or so.

happens after the development. It should lead
to coda after. I will also put some ornaments
and dynamics to the song a little more,
especially for the development I worked on

This week I worked on the topic returned
after the development. The topic is in A
minor now. Then, the melody that is similar
but a little different and shorter than the
introduction follows.

(of course). I will go back onto my topic back
in D minor and lead it straight to coda. I will
work mostly by Wednesday and leave just a
little bit to finish up and put final touches on

What did you work on this week?
I worked on the end part of my song. It’s
actually not the very end, but then it leads to
what I will work on next week to really finish
my song. In here, I repeated my topic in my
left hand and right hand (it’s a piano song),
just a little differently from the original topic.
Then I put some arpeggios later to get very
close to the end.

I will put the title and author to my song,
because it should have one, then I will finish
writing my song (of course).
What did you work on this week?
This week, I worked on the very final part of
my song. It was the coda of my song. The part
was actually repeating the part of my topic
right before the development, but just a little
differently in D Minor.

I worked for about 45 minutes on Thursday to
finish.
-How do you feel your final composition
turned out?
-Is there anything you would have
changed about your process?
I think it turned out to be good. I think it was
even better than my last composition in Q2.
The dynamics and lots of piano techniques
were dramatically added. I think the
repeating topic shows well the anger keeps
coming up, even if there are things to make it
calm down, as in the quiet parts. The minor
chords and forte also showed the madness
well. If I want to change anything, I might
change the song to be in a different chord, or
change the melody overall. I also could make
it longer and closer to a sonata form, because
it turned out to be kind of like a rondo instead
of a sonata movement.
