The world is a place of great change. Enormous
change in fact, either good or bad.

Sample 2:
In the present era, children are found to have
fewer responsibilities than it used to be in the past time. Some
people consider it as positive development. However, some
other people believe it to be a negative trend. Discuss both the
views and give your own opinion.

As you prepare for IELTS, consider the changes around you.

How are some things different from what they were years ago?

global village
Why so?

all of us? Do you have much knowledge

attending universities? What are the advantages and disadvantages of
it?

INTERNET AND MEDIA

ISome people think that newspapers are the best way to learn
news. However, others believe that they can learn news better
through other media. Discuss both views and give your opinion.
Writing task 2 topics:

GLOBAL CULTURAL AND SPORTING EVENT

FAMOUS PEOPLE AND ENTERTAINMENT
ENVIRONMENT

HEALTH/GETTING FIT
#3 Read, read, and
read some more
It's pretty simple.

- Deep learning comes from reading.

- Reading affects everything.
It affects the way you understand instructions. It
affects your ability to analyse the question
on the writing section. It affects your ability to read
the card in section two of the speaking.
- What to read? Read anything and everything, but
spare enough time reading IELTS reading sample
available on the Internet.
The main reason that many people prefer newer media outlets is that they deliver
news more quickly across a variety of convenient platforms. The most notable
example of this is online news. The vast majority of people get their news from
Facebook and other social media websites which aggregate articles from various
online publishers, including the online version of print newspapers in some cases. The
problem here is that websites are solely concerned with increasing traffic and getting
news up as fast as possible. It is a common occurrence for a website to publish news
quickly in order to beat others to the scoop before it has been properly verified or
even thoughtfully analysed. The result is hordes of people clicking on links to amuse
themselves for a minute without casting a critical eye over the veracity of the news.
These articles are then shared online or by word of mouth and false information
spreads rapidly.

It can be tough at times,

but always
have a
positive
attitude.
This is a test that you must do, so see it as an excellent
opportunity to increase your knowledge, English skills, and
language confidence.
