Promotion In Motion is seeking bright, eager interns for our Accounting department.
Promotion In Motion is one of the fastest-growing snack and candy manufacturers and

Our brands include Welch’s® Fruit Snacks, Sun-Maid® Chocolate Raisins, Sour Jacks®
Sour Candies, new Juicefuls® Juice-Filled Fruit Snacks and many more. These brands are
found across North America in outlets including Walmart, Target, Costco, Sam’s, BJ’s, AMC
Movie Theatres, 7-11 and thousands of other grocery stores, movie theatres, convenience
stores, vending machines, specialty retailers and more.

Responsibilities & Duties

The Accounting Summer intern will be a student pursing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting
working about 30-40 hours per week. The assignments will provide valuable exposure and
experience in areas of:

 Responsible for performing observations daily of all moguls to include machine trays
per minute and record machine speeds for all packaging machines. Observations to
also include item running, size and shift observation performed.
 Observing and recording all headcount, for all kitchens, moguls and all packaging
machines
 Confirming headcount by area with Supervisors to verify observations and any
deviations in the headcount observed vs the standard.
 Record all data on a template and record summary by machine on spreadsheets to be
used for cost update.
 Downtime analysis (root cause analysis) and machine efficiencies
 Assist in annual product cost update.
 Perform expense analysis by account to detail numerous accounts for year over year.
 Perform current month detail expense download and summary for various expense
accounts for month end close.
 Download MO variances for 12 months historical data for scrap analysis by
Accounting Manager.
 Ad hoc requests as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

 Rising Junior in college/university, pursuing bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

 Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better
 Strong business acumen and analytical ability
 Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal and organization
skills and demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong relationships.
 Self-motivated and bias for action.
 Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
 Demonstrated personal and professional values.
