RESUMEN
ABSTRACT
This article aims to reflect on the current situation of informal workers in the construction sector;
since due to the state of national sanitary emergency decreed by our government (D.S N ° 008-
2020-SA), the construction sector was paralyzed; affecting miles of workers, but mainly those who
work informally. In other words, the Health emergency has shown the high degree of informality
that exists in all sectors of the country, being a figure of 70% (1). In a conjuncture like the current
one, the workers in the construction sector lack a fixed income that can cover their family during
the confinement by Covid-19; despite the government's efforts to grant a universal economic
subsidy, an independent bond, in a country with 70% informality; the figures do not help to
diminish the most fundamental needs of these families. Consequently, informal workers in the
construction sector will become a vulnerable population, which can affect their emotional state.
