This is an introductory course in linear algebra taken up as a major course by students in the mathematics programs. Topics discussed include matrices, vector
spaces, linear transformation and their matrix representation, eigenvalues and eigenvectors and diagonalization.
A well-thought out
solution to a problem
set which requires the
application of the
various concepts
discussed in the
course.
A write-up on a real-
life application of
linear algebra concepts
to solve a specific
problem in fields such
as Chemistry, Physics,
Engineering, Computer
Science and the like.
