• Free flowing and easily handled
PetroGuard-D is a dry, white granular high capacity instant solidifying absorbent. PetroGuard-D is used to
immobilize petroleum and petroleum related products with minimal overall volumetric increase. The most unique
and important characteristic of PetroGuard-D is that once absorbed, liquids will not be released, even under
pressure. Production of toxic or flammable vapors will be dramatically reduced or eliminated with the application
of PetroGuard-D.

Absorbent Boom
Guardian Super booms are manufactured to optimum specifications. Steel rings
rather than rope on the ends to facilitate connecting the O-rings to the bit snap. Both
inner and outer net pulled through the O-ring gives the maximum tensile strength
possible. O-rings and bit snaps are fastened with clips to keep them from rotating
though the rope and net. Our teardrop bit snap is easier to connect than a rounded
corner rectangular bit snap. Polyester netting rather than polypropylene netting gives
inherent UV resistance and more elasticity to hold its shape. Polypropylene rope gives
a much greater tensile strength.

Pom-Poms
Pom Poms are generally used close to the shore line to clean up heavy and
viscous hydrocarbons. Pom Poms are used around rocky areas. Pom Poms both
come on a 50 foot rope containing 30 Pom Pom with one line per bail. They
can be ordered with-out the rope packaged 30 each per bail.
Sweeps
Sweep is manufactured with durability in mind. A meltblown polypropylene roll with
an end to end woven polypropylene reinforcing strap makes for ease of use on the
job site. The polypropylene is also sewn down the outside edges for extra strength
and also extends beyond the roll to allow for tie-offs. Pro Strong Sweep is designed
for oil only applications.
Poly Sheeting
Guardian offers the highest quality and competitively priced poly bags and poly
sheeting. High volume purchasing equates to buying power in the commodities
market, and we pass the savings on to our customers. Guardian will continue to
set the mark when it comes to competitive pricing on poly bags and poly sheeting.
Our PetroGuard Specialty Spill Kits are designed to provide maximum efficiency in the smallest container,
depending upon the application.
Spill Kits can be ordered with PetroGuard-D for oil spill applications.
PetroGuard is a dry, white granular high capacity instant solidifying absorbent. PetroGuard is used to immobilize
liquid hydrocarbon and chlorocarbon spills on land or water to a recoverable solid, with minimal overall volumetric
increase. Once absorbed, liquids will not be released, even under pressure. Production of toxic vapors will be
dramatically reduced or eliminated with the application of PetroGuard.
PetroGuard has a strong affinity for hydrocarbon-based liquids, particularly the primary aromatic compounds.

Foam Concentrates
Chemguard supplies fire-fighting foam concentrates to meet a wide range of fire-fighting
challenges, including industrial, marine, mining, municipal, oil, petrochemical, and transportation.
Our aqueous film-forming foams (AFFFs), Class A foams, wetting agents, high-expansion foam
concentrates, and protein foams are suitable for ground and air attack, creating
firebreaks, use with compressed-air foam systems (CAFS), and mop-up operations.
Because of their effectiveness, Chemguard foam concentrates can achieve knockdown faster
and with lower product volumes than similar agents, which can substantially lessen property
damage and environmental impact.
Dry Chemicals
Chemguard has supplied high-quality fire-fighting dry chemicals for more than two decades. Our full line of Class
A, Class B, and Class C dry chemicals delivers superior and consistent performance. In addition, Chemguard fire-
fighting dry chemical products are compatible with foam concentrates, allowing twin-agent application.
Available in a wide range of container sizes – 50-pound pails to 2,000-pound bulk bags – Chemguard’s dry
chemicals are classified for discharge performance and compatibility with extinguishers and other brands. Dry
chemical fire extinguishers can be recharged with our agents as a substitute or replacement for original agents
in accordance with NFPA 10 and UL 299. From refills for the industry’s smallest extinguishers to mobile and fixed
installations and training facilities, Chemguard has the right fire-fighting dry chemical for the job.

• As an option, the boom can be fitted with vertical weldings every 6 ft.
• The boom is fitted with top tension member and a ballast chain as the bottom
tension member. These components besides the highly resistant fabrics used
enable the boom to withstand severe conditions due to waves, winds and
currents.
• As an option, reflection bands can be fitted to make the boom more visible
and easier to operate at night. The boom is reinforced by double fabric layers
at critical spots for increased strength and durability.
• This type of boom can also work as the floating support for silt curtains deployed
during dredging operations.
For easy transportation to locations with limited access this boom can be stored
and transported in sturdy big bags (82 ft. per big bag) fitted with 4 handles on
the top corners to make loading and offloading operations quicker. The bags
containing booms are stackable for optimum use of the space in trailers, working
boats or warehouses.
Inflatable Booms
This is a very robust oil boom. The boom is inflated, section by section, by means of a back carried blower. The
products are light weight and deployable without any additional equipment. Delivered in shipping bags, on
pallets, in storage frames, in containers or on reels. Available sizes from 24” to 70”.
Section length is 100 ft and the sections are easily connected with a “Norwegian end connector”, standard
Guardian or ASTM connectors. Each section includes 5 separated, buoyancy chambers fitted with air valves.
