CHAPTER IV

SUMMARY OF FINDINGS, CONCLUSION AND SUGGESTIONS


The present study is an attempt to known the employee satisfaction in Reena Group
of Companies. For the study 30 employees were selected by using convenient
sampling method. The following were the objective of the study.

 To study about the satisfaction level of employees in Reena Group of


Companies.
 To identify the factors influencing the level of job satisfaction of the
employees.
 To find out the motivational factors that affect job satisfaction of
employees

The study reveals that 40 per cent of the respondent aged between 30 and 40 and
100 per cent age of the respondents are male. The education wise classification of
the respondents reveals that out of the 30 respondent 47 per cent age are belong to
the education status up to plus two. The income wise classification of the
respondent reveals that out of 30 respondents 97 per cent age of the respondents
having salary grater than 10000.

MAJOR FINDINGS
 Majority of the respondents (100%) are within the gender group of male.
 Majority of the respondents (40%) are within the age of 30-40.
 Majority of the respondents (47%) are within the qualification group of
plus two.
 Majority of the respondents are (97%)are within the income group of
above 10000.
 Majority of the respondents (70%) are agree with production.
 Majority of respondents (80%) are agree with the statement .
 Majority of the respondents are satisfied (80%)with their salary.
 Majority of the respondents are satisfied (53%)with their incentives.
 Half of the respondents are satisfied (50%)with the drinking facilities
provided by the company.
 Most of the respondents are partially satisfied (43%) with the rest time
provided by the company.

company.
 The most of the respondents are satisfied (40%) with the time schedule of
work provided by the company.

the company.
 Most of the respondents are satisfied (46%) with the leave policy of the
company.
 Most of the respondents are agree (46%) with promotion based on
performance.
 Most of the respondents are agree (57%) with cohesive relationship with
the team members.
 Most of the respondents are partially agree (47%) with feeling job
security.
 Most of the respondents are partially agree (53%) with able to adjust with
colleagues and mannerism.
 Most of the respondents are partially agree (53%) with fair employee
grievance.
 Most of the respondents are disagree (47%) with the leave salary provided
by the Reena group of company.
 Most of the respondents are partially agree (57%) with the compressed
work week policy.
 Most of the respondents are agree (87%) with the job improving social
status

CONCLUSION
Even though the Reena Group of Companies provided to employees are
satisfied on the salary, incentives, working condition, promotional activities,
flexible working hours, motivating job conditions, and many other basic
needs and facilities. So the Reena Group of Companies provide a better
satisfaction level for their employees.

SUGGESTIONS

1. Management should pay their attention on providing satisfying salary for


employee contribution.
2. Also they should be concerned about providing additional benefits to its
non managerial employees
3. Management should pay attention on providing employees welfare services,
health and safety, job security, working responsibilities and good
working environment for employees.
4. Management should give more opportunities for promotional and develop
their skills and abilities of non managerial employees.
5. Money alone is not enough to motivate employees in today’s work
force. Besides financial motivation other ways are to be adopted to
motivate employees such as involving them in decision.
