INSTRUCTIONAL A. Preliminary Activities
PROCEDURE
 Prayer
 Checking of Attendance
B. Activity
 Group activity. Each group will identify a good filename and bad filename in creating a folder.
C. Analysis
 The teacher will let the students think on how to create folder in a desktop computer.
D. Abstraction
 The teacher will discuss the steps in creating a folder and giving a correct filename.
E. Application
 Computer Hands-on with pair. Each pair will create a folder in the assigned desktop computer. They will apply the
proper file naming of each folder.
EVALUATION Formative Assessment (The students will answer the book on page 19.

ASSIGNMENT The students will answer page 28-29.

 Group activity. Each group will read an example of a false information from the Internet, but without knowing that the
information is false. They are going to read the information and ask for their reactions upon reading it.
C. Analysis
 The teacher will ask the students to importance of carefully evaluate the content of various websites that they
encounter.
D. Abstraction
 The teacher will give the key definition of criteria.
E. Application
 Computer Hands-on with partner. Each pair will evaluate one website and the teacher provide an evaluation sheet.
They are going to evaluate the website according to its purpose, reliability, age appropriateness and usefulness of
information.

 Group work. Each group should assign a representative to pick a word or phrase provided by the teacher, these words
are related to Internet Safety or how to avoid Phishing, Malware and Cyberbullying. The group should act out the word
or phrase being assigned or picked. The rest of the class must guess what that word is.
C. Analysis
 The teacher will show a screenshots of pop-up ads from the Internet that directs to download link. Let them analyze the
possible outcome if they will click the pop-up ads.
D. Abstraction
 The teacher will ask these questions to the students. What are the threats that we can encounter when surfing the
Internet? What should we do to protect ourselves online?
E. Application
 The teacher will provide a situation and each student will identify the correct practice to avoid online Internet Threats.

 The students will brainstorm on their ideas about the Internet and how it is being used.

 The teacher will show a different URL’s and also an IP address. Let the student analyze the difference between using
URL and IP address.

 The teacher will give information about the IP address and ask students to give some examples.
E. Application
Computer Hands-on with partner. Each partner will use a computer and do the task provided by the teacher. They are going to
locate an IP address of the computer that they are using. They can use the command prompt or the browsers in locating the IP
address.

 Presentation of the subject matter using Powerpoint. There will be a group activity and each group will brainstorm on the
different HTML tags that they can use in making a webpage.

 The teacher will provide a list of tags and let the student analyze on its uses.

 The teacher will discuss the uses of each HTML tags and let them walk through on how to make the webpage.
E. Application
 Computer Hands-on with pair. Each pair will be using one computer. They are going to make their first HTML webpage.
The content must be related to nutrition month. They can add pictures to make it more appealing and present it to the
class.

 Working in a group. Each group will create a use case diagram and flowchart of their proposed system.
