RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
Director of Alumni Relations and Career Development October 2018 – Present
LSU College of Agriculture and LSU AgCenter, Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Manage all aspects of the College of Agriculture’s Alumni & Friends Association – triannual board meetings,
membership, volunteer fundraising, outreach/mentoring, and student/faculty engagement
Chair the COA Undergraduate Scholarship Committee and coordinate the application and awarding process
with students and committee members
Serve as co-advisor to Les Voyageurs (Ag Ambassadors) by assisting in planning retreats, weekly meetings,
fundraising projects and creating targeted trainings.
Assist in organizing the LSU Ag Mentoring Program which connects industry leaders and undergraduate
students, providing professional development opportunities
Teach 1 section of the First Year Seminar course, AGR1001, to address development of foundational college
success skills through the development of a focuses portfolio assessment
Manage two peer mentors for the AGR 1001 course
Assist in coordinating the Ag Alumni Lecture Series with two other committee members and student leaders
Coordinate COA’s annual “Senior Send-off” with assistance from student leaders
Collaborate with the COA’s Manager of Internships and Student Development on stewarding relationship with
companies and developing new partnerships
Work with COA alumni and administration to facilitate the annual Awards Reception, which recognizes
donors, alumni, faculty and students
Promote and coordinate the fundraiser, Cocktails & Cuisine, raising over $20,000 annually
Organize the annual COA Awards Reception which recognizes donors, alumni, students and faculty
Plan and implement annual Ag alumni tailgates and socials
