1 GENERAL SHIP’S AND POWER PLANT’S PARTICULARS

1.1 Ship general information, type, purpose and place of build

Container ship “ASIAN TRADER” (IMO9245689) registered at Limassol


port and sail under Cyprus flag. Built on CSC Jiang Dong Shipyard, Wuhu in
China 28.02.2003. This container ship with it equipment and main mover, to meet
the requirements of international conventions, regulations and standards, build
with satisfaction the requirements of Germanisher Lloyd GL +100 A5 E
"Container ship" Solas II-2, Reg. 19 + MC E AUT.

Present container ship has one deck with engine room and superstructure at
the stern of ship (Fig. 1.1). Ship summer deadweight is 13814 t. Ship speed at draft
7,30 m is approximately 20,0 knots.

TEUs arranges inside cargo holds and 784 TEUs outside on the cargo hold hatch

covers and deck. 220 TEUs can be refrigerants. Ship has 5 cargo holds (№№1, 2,
3а, 3b, 4а, 4b, 5).

On the ship located 2 combined windlass (with automatic winches) and 2


automatic mooring winches. Also ship has 2 deck cranes "Liebherr" with carrying
capacity 45 ton each one.

Place of sail – worldwide. Type of vessel – single propelled (countrable


pitch propeller), with bow thruster, with stern arrangement of engine room and
superstructure, has 5 cargo holds with hatch covers and two deck cranes, with
double bottom, double sides, with bulb type bow and transom stern.
