M/T ACQUAMARINA

O.D.M.E.
SERES
I General

Overboard discharging of any slop is stricly prohibited in vessel’s operating area, therefore
O.D.M.E. functions can not be tested in operation.

Thougt, system must be fully operative, tested in regular intervals, crew to be familiar with testing
procedure, what is required by Company and various authorities.

Test of slop discharging valves to be carried daily and full test of computerized valves operation to
be carried monthly or in case of crew change.

Test procedure does not require any extra water hoses connections, only clean water from the
installed tank to be used.

We hope that the presented booklet will be helpfull to understand the system and it’s testing
procedures.

2. Switch computer ON in front the pannel, keep the key in auto position
3. Type (E)
4. Enter code (2-5-8-B)
5. Type (3-B-E) |this command sets PPM measurement into AUTO mode to allow
calibration to start and complete ; calibration will fail when is not in AUTO mode; the value of
PPM on display to be “000”; if this fails go to point “2” and repeat procedure|
6. Type (6-0-B-E) to set “proceeding” mode
7. Type (A-D) to start calibration "CALIBRATION, PROCEEDING, PUMP
RUNNING, TIME REMAINING will appear on display"
8. Important check if main water valve is open and if the draining valve are open. see
