ACTIVITY 1: PERSONAL PRESENTATION

Mi nombre es Claudia Patricia Carreño Carreño tengo 26 años de edad, soy

docente de un colegio privado. Yo soy de San Mateo Boyacá pero vivo en Bogotá
hace 7 años.
Me gusta bailar, me gusta la naturaleza, los animales y los niños.
No me gusta la inseguridad de la ciudad, las personas que humillan y menos los
trancones de Bogotá.
Me gusta comer frutas, pero también me gustan toda clase de jugos y las
verduras.
No me gustan los granos y tampoco me gustan las sopas.
Mi color favorito es el morado y el que menos me gusta es el naranja.
Mi familia está formada por mi mamá Ana Cecilia, mi papá Alvaro y cinco
hermanas mayores, yo soy la menor, además tengo cuatro sobrinos tres niños y
una sola niña.
Mis hermanas mayores son mujeres Sandra, Martha, Elizabeth y Cecilia. El único
hombre era el mayor Edgar pero el ya murió, es mi ángel en el cielo, además
existe en mi vida una persona muy importante, mi esposo Víctor Manuel, él es
militar y es lo que más amo, mi mayor alegría.
Mi meta personal es terminar mi carrera profesional, graduarme y ejercer mi
profesión, para tener mayores recursos y mejorar mi calidad de vida y la de mi
familia.
A nivel personal quiero formar una familia, tener una casa, casarme y vivir en
unión, amor y felicidad con mi pareja.

My name is Claudia Patricia Carreño Carreño I am twenty six years old, I am a

private school teacher.
I am from San Mateo Boyacá but I live in Bogotá seven years ago. I like to dance; I
like nature, animals and children.
I do not like the insecurity of the city, the people who humiliate and less the traffic
jams of Bogotá. I like to eat fruits, but I also like all kinds of juices and vegetables.
I do not like grains and I do not like soups either. My favorite color is purple and the
one I like least is orange.
My family consists of my mother Ana Cecilia, my father Alvaro and five older
sisters, I am the youngest, and I have four nephews, three children and a single
girl. My older sisters are women Sandra, Martha, Elizabeth and Cecilia.
The only man was the elder Edgar but he has already died, he is my angel in
heaven, there is also a very important person in my life, my husband Victor
Manuel, he is a military man and that is what I love the most, my greatest joy.
My personal goal is to finish my professional career, graduate and practice my
profession, to have more resources and improve my quality of life and that of my
family.
On a personal level I want to form a family, have a house, get married and live in
union, love and happiness with my partner.

Hola, mi nombre es Claudia y quiero mostrarte mi habitación. Mi habitación es
pequeña, tiene tres grandes ventanas, una detrás de la cama y las otras dos al
lado izquierdo, la puerta también es grande y está al lado derecho de la cama, mi
cama es grande y muy bonita, frente a ella está el televisor ubicado en un mueble
grande y que sirve para guardar ropa, a su lado derecho se encuentra el closet
donde guardo toda mi ropa y mis zapatos, tengo también una lámpara al lado
izquierdo de mi cama, hay también un sofá en el cual descanso mientras leo un
libro o veo televisión, al lado izquierdo también está un escritorio donde ubico el
computador que utilizo para realizar los trabajos de la universidad o de mi trabajo
como profesora, en el piso hay dos lindos tapetes muy coloridos, tengo ubicado un
espejo al lado de la puerta y un cuadro frente a la cama que me recuerda mi
infancia.

has three large windows, one behind the bed and the other two on the left side, the
door is also big and it is on the right side of the bed, my bed is big and very nice, in
front of it is the TV set in a large piece of furniture and used to store clothes, on the
right side is the closet where I keep all my clothes and my shoes, I also have a
lamp on the left side of my bed, there is also a sofa on which I rest while I read a
book or watch television, on the left side there is a desk where I find the computer
that I use to do the work of the university or my work as a teacher, on the floor
there are two pretty colorful rugs, I have a mirror placed next to it from the door and
a painting in front of the bed that reminds me of my childhood

MYRIAM QUINTERO MEJÍA

Hola, mi nombre es Myriam y quiero mostrarte mi habitación. Mi habitación es
grande , tiene dos ventanas, una detrás de la cama y las otras al lado izquierdo, la
puerta también es grande y está al lado derecho de la cama, mi cama es muy
grande y muy bonita, frente a ella tengo el televisor sobre un mueble en un
mueble de color negro y lo utilizo para guardar la ropa de mi bebe, a su lado
derecho se encuentra el closet donde guardo la ropa de mi esposo y la mía y los
zapatos, tengo también una lámpara al lado izquierdo de mi cama, hay también un
sofá en el cual descanso con mis hijos o veo televisión con ellos, al lado izquierdo
también está una mesa donde ubico el computador y algunos libros de mi trabajo
como profesora, en el piso hay dos lindos tapetes muy hermosos, tengo ubicado
un espejo al lado de la puerta donde me arreglo antes de salir y un retrato de mi
familia frente a la cama.
