Personal Statement
As a current third year student at Chantry School of Contemporary & Balletic Arts, I have been fortunate to have received high class
training in classical ballet, contemporary ballet, contemporary, jazz, commercial, acting and singing. My strongest subjects are ballet
and contemporary. I take pleasure in being a versatile and adaptable dancer, willing to work my hardest and to always bring my best. I
am expressive and musical, and enjoy connecting with an audience through interactive storytelling. I am proactive and independent,
but very much enjoy working within a team and communicate well with fellow dancers and teachers. I have particularly benefitted
from being chosen to perform with Chantry Dance Company as supporting ensemble for the past 2 years, which has given me an
excellent opportunity to perform onstage alongside seasoned professional dancers such as Shannon Parker, Paul Chantry and Rae
Piper, as well as learn multiple skills for working in the theatre.
