Jose Rizal–Ang Buhay ng isang Bayani

Jose Rizal life, his refusal to enjoy life with his beloved woman, the repetition of

his experiences especially the painful ones, some above-mentioned memories with his

mother and father, his romances with different women and his shared views about self-

reflection. In terms of Rizal construction of a unified and coherent subject-position for

him, Rizal found it hard to come-up with an output that represents the real Jose Rizal.

He incarnates himself as a figure of paradox and ambiguity. At the end, he found his

life calculated by deferments, silences, ejaculations, sacrifices and not by clear and

distinct ideas. Rizal knew by his heart that his life is a process of studying, analyzing

himself and improves his character and continues reaching out for higher things. He

really aimed for these goals in his life because he knows that he could use these as his

weapons against the Spanish Colonization. He was very brave man for any aspect his

determination to help his fellow Pilipino to stand up and fight for was is it right.

Rizal was so brilliance that he uses his talent, skill, and knowledge to help the

Filipino and his Country.

The Life and Legacy of Dr. Jose Rizal

Dr. Jose Rizal, the national hero of the Philippines, in not only admire for

possessing intellectual brilliance but also for taking a stand and resisting the Spanish

colonial government. Rizal family was belonged to the propertied class during the

Spanish period.

Rizal was outstanding – winning various poetry contests, impressing his

professors with his familiarity of Castilian and other foreign languages, and crafting

literary essays that were critical of the Spanish historical accounts of pre-colonial

Philippine societies.

Rizal had been very vocal against the Spanish government, but in a peaceful and

progressive manner. For him, “the pen was mightier than the sword.” While in

Barcelona, Rizal contributed essays, poems, allegories, and editorials to the Spanish

newspaper, La Solidaridad. Upon his return to the Philippines, Rizal formed a

progressive organization called the La Liga Filipina. Now Rizal was considered even

more of a threat by the Spanish authorities. However did not stop him from continuing

his plans for reform. While Rizal in Dapitan he built a school, hospital, and water

system. He also taught farming and worked on agricultural projects such as using abaca

to make ropes.

After his death, the Philippine Revolution continued until 1893. And with the

assistance of the United States, the Philippines declared its independence form Spain on

June 12,1898.

As a college student. I was able to realize that education was so powerful

weapon than the sword. Rizal was very brave man and brilliance, his willing to sacrifice

his self for the sake of the Filipino. I salute Rizal for taking risks to save the Filipino and

to make the Country as independent Country.

Rizal’s felicitous vision of our future as a nation

“The Philippines will one day declare herself independent”

In Dapitan Rizal had no friends, no position of influence, no money. And the

town was backwater poor. Despite those obstacles, he inspired the town to undertake

public-works projects. The folk provided labor while local authorities, both government

and religious. Together they built Dapitan’s first water systems made up of clay and

bamboo pipes, introduced street lighting using coconut oil, dredged canals to control

malaria and beautified the town plaza replete with flowers and a map of Mindanao. He

anchored his school on a strong liberal-arts curriculum to enrich the mind. He taught

his young wards fencing, boxing, wrestling, hunting, swimming and sailing and took

them on dangerous excursions.

His vision for his country was to be independent and he know that their still

hope of the nation, because of their new and innocent ideals that we need to nurture, so

that we can use them in the future. He never loses hope, despite all of his downfalls

became his guide to succeed.
