correspondiente. Observa estos ejemplos:

I will be lying on the beach tomorrow. (Estaré descansando en la playa

mañana)
We will be arriving at 5.30. (Estaremos llegando a las 17.30)
Marcela will be meeting us there.

I'll be lying on the beach tomorrow. (Estaré descansando en la playa mañana)

We'll be arriving at 5.30. (Estaremos llegando a las 17.30)
Marcela'll be meeting us there. (Marcela nos estará esperando allí)

La forma negativa se obtiene colocando la partícula not después del auxiliar will, es
decir will not y la contracción de will not es won't.

Silvia will not (= won't) be studying tomorrow. (Silvia no estudiará mañana)

Will you be coming tonight? (¿Vendrás esta noche?)

How long will you be staying? (¿Cuánto tiempo te quedarás?)

USO DEL FUTURO CONTINUO EXPRESADO CON "WILL BE + ING VERB"

No conlleva ningún énfasis o intención

We will be landing in a few moments.

(Aterrizaremos en unos momentos)
We will be arriving at about 5.30.
(Llegaremos aproximadamente a las 17.30)
We will be meeting Mrs. Caceres in Galicia, Spain.

I'll be getting up early every day next week.

We will be flying at a height of 30,000 feet.

(Volaremos a 30.000 pies de altura)
We will be staying for three weeks.
(Nos quedaremos durante tres semanas)
This time next week, I'll be lying on the beach.

-  How long will you be staying? (¿Cuánto tiempo te quedarás?)

-  Just one night. (Sólo una noche)
-  Will you be staying at home all afternoon? (¿Estarás en casa toda la tarde?)
-  Sure!! (Claro!!)
-  OK. I'll phone you at 3.30.

-  Will you be using your new digital camera? (¿Usarás tu cámara digital?)
-  No. I don't believe so. (No, creo que no)
-  Could I borrow it? (¿Podría pedírtela prestada?)  ;-(

Futuro Continuo

I will be studying la lección.

Yo estaré estudiando la lección.

She will be working at the office this afternoon.

They will be travelling to London.

Ellos estarán viajando a Londres.

Para construir su forma afirmativa se utiliza el futuro simple del verbo auxiliar TO BE y
el verbo principal con la terminación ING:

I will be working Yo estaré trabajando

You will be working Tú estarás trabajando
He will be working Él estará trabajando
She will be working Ella estará trabajando
It will be working Él/ella estará trabajando
We will be working Nosotros estaremos trabajando
You will be working Ustedes estarán trabajando
They will be working Ellos estarán trabajando

Will I be working? Estaré trabajando?

Will you be working? Estarás trabajando?
Will he be working? Estará trabajando?
Will she be working? Estará trabajando?
Will it be working? Estará trabajando?
Will we be working? Estaremos trabajando?
Will you be working? Estarán trabajando?
Will they be working? Estarán trabajando?

La forma negativa se consigue colocando la negación NOT entre el auxiliar WILL y el

verbo TO BE, seguido del verbo principal con la terminación ING:
I will not be working No estaré trabajando
You will not be working No estarás trabajando
He will not be working No estará trabajando
She will not be working No estará trabajando
It will not be working No estará trabajando
We will not be working No estaremos trabajando
You will not be working No estarán trabajando
They will not be working No estarán trabajando

Aquí vemos algunos ejemplos:

Susan will be cooking tonight.
Susan estará cocinando esta noche.

Will Susan be cooking tonight?

Estará Susan cocinando esta noche?

Susan will not be cooking tonight.

Susan no estará cocinando esta noche.

We will be visiting our friends this afternoon.

Nosotros estaremos visitando a nuestros amigos esta tarde.

Will we be visiting our friends this afternoon?

Estaremos nosotros visitando a nuestros amigos esta tarde?

We will not be visiting our friends this afternoon.

Nosotros no estaremos visitando a nuestros amigos esta tarde.
Verbos modales
Los verbos modales "can" y "must"

Los verbos modales can (poder) y must (deber (1)) tienen varias características:

Can Traducción Must Traducción

I can Yo puedo I must Yo debo
You can Tú puedes You must Tu debes
He can Él puede He must Él debe
She can Ella puede She must Ella debe
It can Eso puede It must Eso debe
We can Nosotros podemos We must Nosotros debemos
You can Vosotros podéis You must Vosotros debeís
They can Ellos pueden They must Ellos deben

En el caso de la negativa añadimos la palabra "not" detrás del verbo modal (can
not→can't, must not→mustn't)

Can Traducción Must Traducción

I can't Yo no puedo I mustn't Yo no debo
You can't Tú no puedes You mustn't Tu no debes
He can't Él no puede He mustn't Él no debe
She can't Ella no puede She mustn't Ella no debe
It can't Eso no puede It mustn't Eso no debe
We can't Nosotros no podemos We mustn't Nosotros no debemos
You can't Vosotros no podéis You mustn't Vosotros no debéis
They can't Ellos no pueden They mustn't Ellos no deben

Can Traducción >Must Traducción

Can I? ¿Puedo yo? Must I? ¿Debo yo?
Can you? ¿Puedes tú? Must you? ¿Debes tú?
Can he? ¿Puede él? Must he? ¿Debe él?
Can she? ¿Puede ella? Must she? ¿Debe ella?
Can it? ¿Puede eso? Must it? ¿Debe eso?
Can we? ¿Podemos nosotros? Must we? ¿Debemos nosotros?
Can you? ¿Podeís vosotros? Must you? ¿Debéis vosotros?
Can they? ¿Pueden ellos? Must they? ¿Deben ellos?

Ejemplos:

·He must study more → Él debe estudiar más.

·We mustn't play football at home → Nosotros no debemos jugar al fútbol en casa.

·Must I go with you? → ¿Debo yo ir contigo?

·She can go to the party → Ella puede ir a la fiesta.

·You can't swim in the sea → Tú no puedes nadar en el mar.

·Can you help me? → ¿Me puedes ayudar?
