Prior to any suspected cases in the Lynchburg area, we aggressively implemented preventative
measures to limit patient and employee exposure. These measures followed the guidelines provided by
the CDC, CMS, and the Virginia Department of Health.

Late in the evening on May 27, 2020 we received results that confirmed one of our patients tested
positive for COVID-19. That patient is receiving care in a private room.

While we progress through this national health crisis, our top priority remains the health of our patients
and staff. We are partnering closely with the Lynchburg Health Department as we follow their guidance.
