KEY RESOURCES
If you’ve been practicing from university case books, don’t forget to check
firm websites for practice cases!
Hi Queen’s!
As we head into OCR, we’ve put together a few of our top tips:
• Don’t be afraid to ask questions that you may be curious and/or embarrassed
about. We were in your shoes not too long ago.
• Be natural; you don’t want to sound like a programmed robot during your case.
• Be your genuine self throughout the process and don’t feel bad asking
classmates and friends for case-prep help. You need each other’s help so don’t
waste time case-prepping alone!
• Always put your best foot forward; treat every interaction as part of an interview.

HELPFUL HINTS
Here are a few tips to keep in mind for upcoming info sessions during OCR.
If the recruiters are complaining about the Leafs and you don’t follow hockey,
that’s okay! You don’t have to lie and make something up. However, try to
avoid shutting down the conversation - “I’m not the biggest hockey fan, but
I’m very passionate about basketweaving” is much more powerful than “Oh,
sorry, I don’t really follow hockey”.
